INSTRUCTIONS
Before starting, check the recommended inflation pressure for your vehicle’s
tires. Manufacturer-recommended pressures can be found on the inside of the
driver’s door jamb and in the owner’s manual. The tire’s maximum pressure can
be located on its sidewall.
Take care not to exceed any maximum tire ratings, doing so may damage the tire
and vehicle, or cause bodily harm.
-
Remove the valve cap from the tire’s valve stem. Then, connect the interchangeable lock-on brass chuck to the valve stem.
Note: Ensure the brass chuck is securely connected to the valve stem; it should not have to be held on by hand. -
Connect the 1 /4″ NPT quick-connect fitting to an air compressor.
-
Squeeze the air valve trigger to inflate the tire. The dial will display the current air pressure. Stop inflating when the desired pressure value is reached.
Note: While inflating or deflating tires. the passing air and changing pressures will cause a volatile pressure reading, which is inaccurate. To get an accurate pressure reading, just release the trigger and read the gauge. Squeeze the trigger lightly to release excess air if the pressure value is higher than desired. If your tire needs more air. simply repeat the steps above to increase the pressure. Remove the interchangeable lock-on brass chuck from the valve stem. Disconnect the air compressor from the tire inflator gauge. Then. store the tire inflator gauge in a dry place.
ATTENTION:
- This tire inflator gauge can be used to check the tire pressure without being connected to an air compressor. Do not squeeze the air valve trigger when not connected to an air compressor. doing so will release air from the tire.
- If air is leaking between the interchangeable lock-on brass chuck and the tire’s valve stem, ensure the interchangeable lock-on brass chuck is firmly connected to the tire’s valve stem.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Inaccurate Readings
- Adjust the angle between the air chuck and the tire’s valve stem to ensure a strong seal.
- A reading error value within 2 PSI is normal.
Air Leakage
Check all the connecting parts: The air compressor, the tire inflater gauge,
the quick connector fitting, the air chuck, and the tire valve stem. All the
connecting parts should be connected firmly without any leakage, If there is
any leakage, use tape to fix it for better sealing performance.
