INTRODUCTION

• Thank you for purchasing the AstroAI 100 PSI Portable Tire Inflater. This product is a programmable tire inflater with an LCD screen that is designed to monitor air pressure while inflating. Once the preset air pressure is reached, the tire inflater will automatically shut off. Its smart design allows for storing hoses and accessories within the product itself.

WARNING

• Please read the instructions carefully before use. Incorrect  usage may damage the product.
• Check the preset pressure value before use. The preset pressure value should match the object to be inflated.
• PSI, kPa, Bar, kg/cm2 are pressure units, not pressure levels.
• Please do not use this product in the rain or near any liquids.
• Keep out of reach of children, if there are children nearby, please make sure they are properly supervised.
• Keep the device away from fire, corrosive gases, liquids and strong magnetic fields.
• Do not aim the nozzle at people or any part of a human body.
• Contains small accessories which are a choking hazard for children.
• Risk of electric shock, do not use the tire inflator if it is damaged or if wires are exposed.
• Do not use with 24 V car power outlets. Only use the pump with a 12 V 15 A DC cigarette lighter. Use an AC-to-DC power convert­er if you want to use AC power.
• Avoid extended and continuous use. The ideal time for continu­ous use is 1 D minutes.
• After extended use, let the tire inflator rest for at least 1 D minutes before using it again.
• Do not store the tire inflator in high-temperature or humid environments.
• When not in use, disconnect the tire inflator from all power sources.
• Appropriate for use with cars, small trucks, SUVs, motorcycles, and bicycles. The tire inflator is not intended for use with high-pressure or large-volume applications.
• During use, do not touch any part of the tire inflator other than the switch. The tire inflator gets hot during use and stays hot for some time after.
• Do not overinflate tires. Excessive pressure may cause injury.
• Do not drag the tire inflator by pulling the power cord or the air hose.
• Do not use chemicals to clean the tire inflator. Only use mild soap and a cloth dipped in hot water to clean its plastic parts.

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Ensure that the car’s engine is running before you use it.
2.  Remove the cigarette lighter cable from the groove and firmly insert it into the car’s 12 V outlet.
3. Press the “M” button to switch units (4 options: PSI, Bar, kPa and kg/cm’).
4. Use the”+” and”-” buttons to set the desired pressure.
5. Remove the valve cap from the valve stem of the tire and con­nect the air nozzle to the valve stem. (Tip: For better sealing when using the quick connector, align the valve stem, firmly press it in and flip the small lever. If illumination is needed, please press the switch to the”=” side to turn on the LED light.)
6. Press the switch to the .. _ .. side to start inflating and the LED light will be illuminated.
7. The tire inflator automatically shuts off when the preset pres­sure value is reached. The switch will not switch back to the original position automatically. Manually press the switch to the “o” position before subsequent use.
8. After usage, unplug the cigarette lighter cable from the car’s 12 V outlet. When the cigarette lighter and extension cord cool down, put them back into the groove at the back of the tire inflator for better storage. 

TROUBLESHOOTING/FAQ

Tire inflater will not inflate

• Ensure the in-line fuse is securely and correctly inserted; replace the fuse if necessary.
• Check the vehicle cigarette lighter fuse, it should be rated at 15 A.
• Ensure there is a strong connection between the power cord and 12 V socket.
• Preset tire pressure is lower than current tire pressure, increase the preset tire pressure to the manufacturer-recommended level.

Tire inflater is operating abnormally

• The inflation nozzle is not properly connected to the tire’s valve stem.
• The 12 V socket is not connected securely.

Air leaking through hose
The connection between the air nozzle and the tire valve is not securely connected.

Slow inflation

• The inflation nozzle is not properly connected to the tire’s valve stem.
• Excessive use will slow the inflation rate of the pump. Let it cool for at least 1 0 minutes.
