Check that your mains voltage corresponds to that stated on the rating plate of the appliance before using the appliance.

This appliance can be used by children over the age of 8 and people with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge, if they are under constant supervision or instructed in the safe use of the appliance and understand the possible dangers. Children should not play with the appliance. Cleaning and customer service should not be performed by children without supervision.

Never leave your appliance unsupervised when in use.

Close supervision is necessary if children are near the appliance in order to avoid that they use it as a toy.

From time to time check the appliance and its cord for damages. Never use the appliance if the cord or appliance shows any signs of damage. In that case, all repairs should be made by a competent qualified electrician. Never use the appliance if it shows visible damage.

Only use the appliance for domestic purposes and in the way indicated in these instructions.

To avoid electric shocks, never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid for any reason whatsoever. Never place it in the dishwasher.

Never use the appliance near hot surfaces or near objects that are sensitive to magnetism.

Before cleaning, always unplug the appliance from the power supply.

Do not use high-pressure cleaners or steam cleaners to clean the device.

Never use the appliance outside and always place it in a dry environment.

Never use accessories that are not recommended by the producer. They could constitute a danger to the user and risk damaging the appliance.

Never move the appliance by pulling the cord. Make sure the cord cannot get caught in any way. Do not wind the cord around the appliance and do not bend it.

Stand the appliance on a table or flat surface with ample distance to the outer edges. Do not block the ventilation opening. Make sure that the appliance has sufficient free space.

Do not move the appliance when pots or pans are standing on it.

Do not put any empty pans, metal objects, inflammable objects, or objects with low heat resistance on the plate.

Make sure the appliance has cooled down before cleaning and storing it.

Make sure the cord never comes into contact with the hot parts of the appliance.

Do not touch the hotplate, as it may be hot after long use.

Make sure the appliance never comes into contact with inflammable materials, such as curtains, cloth, etc. when it is in use, as a fire might occur.

Always unplug the appliance when it is not in use.

Fire hazard! Do not place items on cooking surfaces.
CAUTION! The cooking process should be controlled. A short cooking process should be monitored continuously.
ATTENTION! Cooking food on a hotplate with fat or oil without supervision can be dangerous as it can cause a fire. -
When using the appliance under an extractor hood, make sure to observe the minimal distance advised by the producer. It is even wiser to double this distance.

Only use the appliance for food that is supposed to be cooked.

Immediately unplug the appliance if a crack or defect appears and make sure it is controlled by a qualified competent electrician.

The device is not intended to be controlled by an external timer or a separate remote control system.

This appliance is intended for use in domestic and similar environments, in particular:
– kitchen areas for staff in shops, offices, and other production environments, on agricultural farms;
– by clients in hotels, motels, and other residential type infrastructures;
– in private boarding houses.
WARNING
The induction cooking plate will function only when a cooking utensil that is
suitable for induction is standing on the plate! When no pot or pan has been
put on the plate, the appliance will switch off immediately for safety
reasons. Always test your pots and pans with a magnet beforehand – if the
magnet sticks to the pot or pan, it is suitable.
DANGER:
Never attempt to use your appliance, if it shows signs of damage or the power
cord or plug is damaged. If the power cord is defective it is important to
have it replaced with the after-sales service to eliminate any danger.
Only qualified and authorized persons are authorized to carry out repairs to
your appliance. Any repairs not in accordance with standards could
significantly increase the level of risk for the user!
Defect resulting from improper handling, degradation, or attempted repairs by
third parties voids the warranty on the product. This also applies in case of
normal wear and accessories from the appliance.
IMPORTANT!
We recommend that you keep the packaging of your device at least for the
duration of the warranty. The guarantee does not apply without the original
packaging.

GENERAL USE
- Put usable cooking utensils in the middle of the plate and plug in the appliance.
- As soon as the appliance is plugged in, a beep sounds, „OFF“ appears on the display and the internal fan is set in motion briefly.
- Switch the appliance on with a light fingertip press on the on-off switch; „ON“ appears on the display.
- Model ICS-B116 power mode: start the induction with a press on the ‘Menu’ key, 1600 appears on the display as the standard default for the power. Press up or down to choose between the power settings.
- Model ICS-B216 & ICS-B217 power mode: start the induction with a press on the ‘Menu’ key, 1600(left)/1300(right) appears on the display as the standard default for the power. Press up or down to choose between the power settings.
- Press the „Menu“ key again to switch to the temperature indication, which is standing on a maximum value of 240°C. Press up or down to choose between the temperature settings.
- Press the „Menu“ key again – 0:00 appears on the display. The unit steps into ‘power+timer’ mode. Press up or down to set the time; however, if you do not press up or down, no time limit is set.
- Press the „Menu“ key again – 0:00 appears on the display. The unit steps into ‘temp+timer’ mode. Press up or down to set the time; however, if you do not press up or down, no time limit is set.
- Model ICS-B118 power mode: start the induction with a press on the function key, 1000 appears on the display as the standard default for the power. Press up or down to choose between the power settings.
- Model ICS-B218 power mode: start the induction with a press on the function key, (left)1000/(right)1000 appears on the display as the standard default for the power. Press up or down to choose between the power settings.
- Press the „Function“ key again to switch to the temperature indication, which is standing on a value of 200°C. Press up or down to choose between the temperature settings.
- Press the „ Function“ key a third time – 0:00 appears on the display. The unit steps into ‘power+timer’ mode. Press up or down to set the time; however, if you do not press up or down, no time limit is set.
- Press the „ Function“ key a fourth time – 0:00 appears on the display. The unit steps into ‘temp+timer’ mode. Press up or down to set the time; however, if you do not press up or down, no time limit is set.
- Model ICS-B118 Boost function: when the unit turns into power mode, pressing the boost button, the power will change to 1800 on the display, and it will be working for 3 minutes continuously. It will quit boost mode to recover power value when time is up or press the boost button again.
- Model ICS-B218 Boost function: when the unit turns into power mode, pressing the boost button, the power will change to 1800(left)/1300(right) on the display, and it will be working for 3 minutes continuously. It will quit boost mode to recover power value when time is up or press the boost button again. Lock: once pressed, lock, press for 2 seconds, and unlock.

CLEANING
- Before cleaning, unplug and wait for the appliance to cool down.
- Wipe the housing only with a moistened cloth or sponge.
- Do not clean with any abrasive scouring pad or steel wool, as this will damage the finish.
- The ceramic plate can also be cleaned with a damp cloth or sponge. Use a commercially available special cleansing agent for ceramic glass hobs and induction cooking plates to remove stubborn stains or discolorations on the plate, and if necessary also a stainless steel wool sponge.
- Do not immerse in water or any other liquid.
- Do not use steam cleaning.
OVERHEATING PROTECTION
The induction cooking plate is equipped with overheating protection.
If your cooking plate overheats (empty pot or pan), a prolonged beep will
sound. After a few minutes, the cooking function will switch off
automatically.
If you take the pot or pan from the plate during use, a bleep will sound as
well and the lamps will flash as a warning. After use, turn off the hotplate
using the controls on the hob, and do not rely on overheating protection.
DISPOSAL OF THE APPLIANCE
Used devices must not be disposed of with household waste. Old appliances must
be collected separately in order to optimize the recovery and recycling of
materials they contain and reduce the impact on human health and the
environment.
The symbol of the dustbin is used on all products to remind the obligations
for separate collections. Consumers should contact their local authorities or
dealer regarding the steps to follow for the removal of their old appliances.
If you proceed with the scrapping of old equipment, be sure to render useless
what could be dangerous: disconnect the power cable flush with the device.
Warranty conditions:
The plant guarantees the normal operation of the product within 12 months from
the date of the sale, provided that the consumer complies with the rules of
operation and care provided by this Manual.
The service life of the product is 5 years. In order to avoid any
misunderstanding, we kindly ask you to carefully study the Owner’s Manual, and
the terms of the warranty, and check the correctness of filling the Warranty
Card. The Warranty Card is valid only if the following information is
correctly and clearly stated: model, serial number of the product, date of
sale, clear seals of the company-seller, and signature of the buyer. The model
and a serial number of the product must correspond to those specified in the
Warranty Card. If these terms are violated, and if the information specified
in the Warranty Card is changed, erased, or rewritten, the Warranty Card is
considered invalid. Setup and installation (assembly, connection, etc.) of the
appliance are described in the attached documentation; they can be carried out
both by the user and by specialists having the necessary qualification sent by
USC or selling companies (on a paid basis). In this case, the person (the
institution) installing the appliance shall be responsible for the correctness
and quality of installation (setup). Please pay attention to the importance of
the correct installation of the appliance, both for its reliable operation and
for obtaining a warranty and free service. Require the installation specialist
to enter all the necessary information about the installation in the Warranty
Card. In case of failure of the appliance during the warranty period by the
fault of the manufacturer, the owner is entitled to free warranty repair upon
presentation of the correctly filled Warranty Card together with the appliance
in the factory configuration packed in the original packaging to the warranty
workshop or the place of its purchase. Satisfaction of the customer’s claim
due to the fault of the manufacturer shall be made in accordance with the law
«On Protection of Consumers’ Rights». In the case of warranty repair, the
warranty period shall be extended for the period of repair and shipment.
WARRANTY CARD

which was designed and manufactured in accordance with the highest quality
standards, and we thank you for choosing this particular instrument.
We ask you to keep the coupon during the warranty period. When purchasing a
product, require a full warranty card.

Warranty service is carried out only if there is a correctly and clearly filled original warranty card, which indicates: the product model, date of sale, serial number, warranty service period, and the seller’s seal. *

The service life of household appliances is 5 years.

The product is intended for consumer use. When using the product in commercial activities, the seller/manufacturer does not bear warranty obligations, after-sales service is performed on a paid basis.

Warranty repair is carried out within the period specified in the warranty card for the product in an authorized service center on the conditions and terms determined by applicable law.

The product is withdrawn from the warranty in case of violation by the consumer of the operating rules set forth in the instruction manual.

The product is removed from warranty service in the following cases:
• misuse and non-consumer use;
• mechanical damage;
• damage caused by the ingress of foreign objects, substances, liquids, or insects;
• damage caused by natural disasters (rain, wind, lightning, etc.), fire, domestic factors (excessive humidity, dust, aggressive environment, etc.)
• damage caused by non-compliance of power and cable network parameters with state standards and other similar factors;
• when operating equipment in the power supply network with a missing single ground loop;
• in case of violation of seals installed on the product;
• lack of a serial number of the device, or inability to identify it. -
The warranty does not cover consumables and accessories, as well as filters, shelves, drawers, stands, and other containers for storing products.
