The CH-50 adds a constantly changing detuned copy of the guitar signal to expand and thicken the original guitar sound and add a spatial and ethereal dimension. Much favoured throughout the pop artists of 1980’s and 1990’s, the chorus effect has its own distinctive character that works great from clean arpeggios to distorted power chords. Depth and Speed controls offer different flavours of the effect whilst Volume allows a pre-set level for when the effect is switched in.
Unplug the guitar input jack to preserve the battery when not in use. If the pedal is not being used for long periods, it is advised to remove the 9V battery. Optional external power can be from a 9Vdc adaptor, centre-negative polarity with a rating of 100mA or higher recommended.
