WARNING

  • Serious injury may occur to children and adults if not secured before installation.
  • Children should not play with or around the safe at any time

NOTICE

  1. To reduce the risk, the gun safe must be installed on the wall or floor to ensure safety.
  2. Please keep the emergency key carefully. Do not leave the key in the gun safe, otherwise the emergency key will not be able to open the safe after the battery runs out.
  3. Please do not spill liquid on the control panel, otherwise it will damage he internal electronic components and make it work wrong.
  4. Please do not disassemble the product by yourself. Unprofessional disassembly and installation may damage the circuit and affect its performance.

Operating Instructions

4.1 GETTING STARTED

  1. Insert the emergency key into the keyhole and turn it 35° by counter clockwise direction.
  2. Turn handle clockwise to open the safe.

NOTICE:

  1. Use the emergency key when opening the door for the first time. After installing the battery, set the password in time.
  2. Store code and keys in a secure location (other than in the safe).
  3. Blacksmith offers a secure key code labeling on safe in case that the key is lost or damaged, the factory can make a replacement for it

4.2 INSTALL BATTERIES

  1. Open the battery box cover plate.
  2. Insert NEW 4*AA batteries and close battery cover. A (Caution: Do not use Lithium Battery or different brand of recharging batteries.)

4.3 PASSWORD SETTING

  1. The Original password is :159 /ENTER

  2. Enter the initial key “159 /ENTER”, the prompt tone is “drip drip”, the green light displays, it offs within 6 seconds.

  3. The first set of password settings: In the standby state, press the setting button, yellow light flashes twice, and hear “drip drip” sound. Then enter the 3-8-bit password and press “ “to confirm. The yellow light flashes twice with “drip
    drip” sound, the modification is successful. The new password setup succeeded.

  4. The second set of password settings: Enter ” ”, press the setting button, the yellow light flashes 3 times. Then enter the 3-8-bit password and press “ 0= “to confirm. The yellow light flashes twice with “drip drip” sound, the second set of password setup succeeded.

NOTICE :

The yellow light represents the input digital indicator light; The green light is the door opening indicator light; The red light is the undervoltage indicator light.
+If the operation is wrong, the buzzer will sound “drip drip drip” three times At the same time yellow light flashes 3 times. Please reset it.
-Note that if the battery is weak it cannot be operated, please replace battery in time.
4.4 OPEN THE SAFE

  1. 1.Enter the correct user password, the electromagnet pulls, then turn the handle clockwise to open the door successfully.
  2. Insert the emergency key into the keyhole and then turn handle clockwise to open the safe.

4.5 ALARM FUNCTION

  1. 1f enter the wrong password three times consecutively, the yellow light will flash three times and the safe will be locked and the buzzer will alarm for 20 seconds. Enter the correct password to stop.
  2. And 6 times incorrect passwrd consecutively, it will be locked and the buzzer will alarm for 5 minutes.
    NOTICE:
    During the self-locking, any key input is unresponsive.

4.6 RESTORE FACTORY SETTINGS

  1. In the standby state, long press the setting button for 3 seconds, hear a long “drip” sound. At this point, the system returns to the initial state (password returned to 159).

4.7 POWER SHORTAGE PROMPT

  1. When the voltage is 4.5V (+/-0.2), the red light will flashes, please replace new 4*AA batteries in time
    Note : It is recommended to use ordinary batteries, avoid lithium batteries or different brand of recharging batteries.

4.8 TECHNICAL PARAMETERS

  1. Working power: 4 x AA Batteries
  2. Working undervoltage point: 4.5V plus or minus 0.20V
  3. Working voltage range: 4V-7V
  4. Quiescent current is less than 350mA

4.9 MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS

The safe could be mounted to a wall or floor.
Drill the appropriate size holes for the anchors you are using.
Mount the safe by running screws from inside of the safe and securing to anchors; ensure the safe is mounted securely Floor Mounting.
Use proper drill tools depending on the type of floor you are mounting the safe (wood, tile, or concrete).

4.10 MOUNTING HOLES

  1. Choose a suitable location for your quick opening and closing the gun safe. Place the safe box in a proper place and mark the hole to be drilled on the surface
  2. Move the safe when you drill the marked hole on the surface of the safe.
  3. Drill holes in the surface using the appropriate hardware type and the diameter and depth of the mounting surface used.

TROUBLE SHOOTING

Problem: When unlock the gun cabinet with my password, it won’t open.

  1. Please make sure your password is correct.
  2. 1t may be in self-locking mode due to multiple input errors. Wait and try again
  3. 0pen the door with the emergency key and replace the battery or restorethe factory settings and re-register.

Problem: The door can not be closed.

  1. Check if there is an obstacle blocking the door inside the gun cabinet.
  2. Check if the lock bolt on the door is sticking out, if so, unlock it in theright way to make the bolt retract to close the door.

Problem: The indicator lights come on at the same time.

  1. The system prompts to replace the battery, which is in a weak state.

12 Months Warranty

This product is warranted by the original purchaser for 12 Months from the date of purchase. If the product is within 12 Months since you bought it, any part of the product or the whole product is damaged due to production process or materials, BLackSmith will, at its sole discretion, repair or replace the product or part for the original purchaser. This warranty applies only to the damage which is caused by materials or workmanship, and does not include damage caused by misuse and conversion. This warranty also
does not include fire (except fire protection products), water logging (except waterproof products) or theft as well as vandalism.The sole responsibility of the Company shall be limited to the repair or replacement (in its sole discretion) of any component of the BLackSmith safe which fails to conform to this warranty at no cost to the purchaser for the period of the warranty.
