Product Information
This product is designed for connecting various types of male connectors (7-16 DIN, 4.3-10, and 4.1-9.5 Mini-DIN) to female antenna or device ports. Product Usage Instructions
- Make sure you have the necessary tools, including a torque wrench, open end wrench, and the appropriate boots and caps for your connector type.
- Torque the connection using the appropriate wrenches or tools. Follow the specified coupling torque values provided in the instructions.
- Push and twist the boot counterclockwise over the male coupling nut. Pull down slightly and push back up to flatten the top of the boot. The boot should look like the illustrations provided in the instructions.
- Make sure the gasket is seated well into the conduit.
- Push the cap to cover the Sureguard V2.0. Keep the cap aligned with the Sureguard.
- Screw the cable gland nut by hand onto the conduit. Make sure it is securely fastened.
- Do not hold the connector and bend the cable directly behind it. Start the bend at least 30mm away from the cap end.
- Be careful to only tighten the cable gland nut after all cable fastening and movement are completed.

- Route and form the jumper assembly with the HELIAX® SureGuard weatherproofing system installed before attaching the coupling nuts.
- Torque the connection using the appropriate wrenches or tools.
- 7-16 DIN male connector: 25-30 N•m (18-22 ft-lb)
- 4.3-10 male connector: 5-8 N•m (4-6 ft-Ib)
- 4.1-9.5 male connector: 10-15 N•m (7-11 ft-b)
- Push 0 and twist 2 the boot counterclockwise over the male coupling nut. Pull down slightly 3 and push back up to flatten the top of the boot. The boot MUST look like the Properly Seated illustrations below.
- Pull back conduit with gasket through the picture direction shown stopped by safeguard V2.0. Make sure the gasket is seated well into the conduit.
- WARNING : Suregard V2.0 boot should not be pushed up over the square section of the connector.
- Be careful only tighten the cable gland nut after all cable fastening and movement is completed.
- Push cap to cover sureguard V2.0 in, keep the cap as line as sureguard.
- 6 Screwed cable gland nut by hand as shown.
- Do not hold the connector and bend the cable directly behind it, start bending 30mm min away from the cap end as the picture shows.

SureGuard Version 2.0 Weatherproofing boots are designed for installation on smooth cylindrical surfaces. Do not install boots on female device port machined flats or other irregular surfaces. Installation on such surfaces may compromise sealing effectiveness.
