POWER-LITE ID7W Integral Driver Downlight

Product Information

The LED ID7W and ID8W are high-quality downlights that provide certainty at the speed of light. These downlights are designed for indoor use and offer exceptional safety features. The fittings have an insulating ceiling type IC-4 rating, allowing them to be installed in areas with temperatures up to 90°C. They are suitable for use in bathrooms and covered/sheltered areas such as porches.

The downlights come in different sizes, with ceiling cutout dimensions ranging from 70-75mm for the 2.5-inch downlight to 190mm for the 8-inch downlight. The installation spacing requirements, as shown in Figure 1, ensure proper thermal insulation and building material clearance.

Before installation, it is important to check the IP label on the luminaire to determine the appropriate location for installation. The IP rating indicates the level of protection against water and dust. The downlights have IP20/IP40 ratings for indoor use only, IP44/IP54 ratings for use in bathrooms and covered/sheltered areas, and IP65 rating for outdoor areas.

Additionally, the downlights are available with different driver options. Non- dim drivers cannot be used with any dimmer, while Triac dim drivers are compatible with recommended TRIAC dimmers, offering a dimming range of 8-100%.
