GLEMM PM 1 Multizone Microphone Instruction Manual
GLEMM PM 1 Multizone Microphone

The multizone microphone mod. PM 1 was designed to operate in combination with amplifiers mod. PAA 120MZ, PAA 240MZ, PAA 480MZ and PAA 1000MZ.
Don’t connect it to other amplifiers to avoid possible damages to the microphone or to the amplifier.

This microphone doesn’t need an external PSU as it takes power directly from the amplifier it is connected to.

Keep this instruction manual for future references. Remember to check the availability of updates in the product sheet on the website www.glemm.eu.

Connection

Warning: all the connections and the Dip switch settings must be made with the amplifier turned off. You can connect the microphone to the amplifier just by means of a RJ 45 ethernet cable, through the specific port on the amplifier. It is possible to connect in a cascade arrangement up to 6 microphones, using the ports COM 1 and COM 2.

The microphones are equipped with DIP SWITCHES to set the priority (refer to the below chart).
The microphone with higher priority prevails on the microphones having less priority. If the priority is the same, the last message covers the previous one. The maximum distance between amplifier and microphone, using a CAT6 cable, must be no more than 200m.

On the back of the microphone, there is a 3,5mm socket for AUX signals. Each microphone will have the possibility to send to one or more zones its own AUX signal alternatively to the voice. After installing the microphone base to test correct operation, set the DIP SWITCH 8 to ON position.

If all the leds flash the base works correctly. Move then the dip switch to back to OFF position and start use.
