SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
General
- Please read these instructions carefully and retain them for reference.
- Use this appliance solely in accordance with these instructions. Improper use can cause injury and damage to the device.
- This device can be used by children from 8 years old and by persons with limited mental, physical and sensory abilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given the necessary instructions or supervision to use the device in a safe way. Children should not play with appliance. Cleaning and maintenance by the consumer should not be carried out by children without supervision.
- Have any repairs carried out solely by a qualified electrician. Never try to repair the appliance yourself.
Electricity and heat
- Before use please verify that the mains voltage is the same as indicated on the rating plate of the appliance.
- Make sure that you always use an earthed wall socket to connect the appliance.
- Always remove the plug from the mains socket before moving the appliance and when the appliance is not in use.
- Remove the plug from the wall socket by pulling the plug, not the power cord.
- Do not attempt to repair the device by yourself. Always contact an authorized specialist. If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, service center or similarly qualified personnel in order to avoid a hazard.
- Certain parts of the appliance may get hot. Do not touch these parts to prevent burning yourself.
- The appliance needs space to allow heat to escape, thereby preventing the risk of fire. Make sure that the appliance has sufficient space around it, and does not come in contact with flammable material. The appliance must not be covered.
- Make sure that the appliance, the power cord or the plug do not make contact with hot services, such as a hot hob or naked flame.
- Make sure that the appliance, the power cord and plug do not make contact with water.
During use
- Never use the appliance outdoors.
- Place the appliance on a flat, stable surface.
- Always remove the plug from the wall socket after use, and before cleaning the appliance.
- Never allow the power cord to hang over the edge of the draining board, worktop or table.
- Make sure that your hands are dry before touching the appliance, power cord or plug.
- Never use the appliance in a humid room.
- Never immerse the appliance, the plug or the power cord in water or other liquid.
- Do not pick up the appliance if it falls into water. Remove the plug from the wall socket immediately and do not use the appliance any more.
- Use solely the base supplied with the kettle. Never use the base for other purposes.
- Remove the kettle from the base, and fill with water from the tap. Never fill the kettle above the ‘max’ level.
- Do not switch on the appliance before you have filled it with water. Fill only with cold water.
- The kettle lid must remain securely closed whilst the appliance is in use.
- Never open the lid when the water is still boiling.
- Use the appliance only to boil or heat water. Never use it for other liquids!
- Fill the kettle with at least 0.5 liters of water.
- Allow the appliance to cool to room temperature before storage
- This appliance may not be used through an external timer or by means of a remote control.
- The appliance is intended only for domestic use, not for professional use.
- This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as:
- staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments;
- farm houses;
- by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments;
- bed and breakfast type environments.

Before use for the first time
Before first use, remove possible manufacturing process residues by boiling 3
full kettles of water. Dispose this water.
Tip: you can use a special descaling agent.
Use

Turn the kettle so that the spout faces away from you.

Press the button to open the lid (8).

Fill the kettle with the required quantity of water (at least 0.5 liters, and a maximum of 1.7 liters). Never fill the water boiler over the «max». Otherwise the hot water can spatter out of the base
ATTENTION
Make sure that you do not spill any water on the base. -
Release the button to open the lid.

Place the kettle on the base, and insert the plug in the wall socket. Push down the on/off switch. The on/off button light will illuminate.

The kettle is now switched on, and the water will now begin to heat. The kettle switches off automatically a few seconds after the water boiled. The on/off button light will now extinguish.

Remove the kettle from the base only by the handle.
ATTENTION
Be careful not to touch the hot water. This can cause serious burns. -
When you wish to heat the water without it coming to the boil you can switch off the kettle at any time you require.

Remove the plug from the wall socket when you have finished using the kettle.
Overheating safeguard
The kettle is fitted with an overheating safeguard. This will switch off the
kettle if it is operated without (sufficient) water. Allow the kettle to cool
down for at least 10 minutes before using it again.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- Remove the plug from the wall socket, and allow the appliance to cool.
- Clean the kettle with a damp cloth. Never immerse the appliance in water. Never put the appliance in a dishwasher. Make sure that the electrical connections do not become damp.
- If the interior of the kettle has become severely discoloured, then the best way to clean it is with a damp cloth and a little washing soda. After cleaning, rinse the kettle very thoroughly.
ATTENTION
- Never use corrosive or scouring cleaning agents or sharp objects (such as knives or hard brushes) to clean the appliance.
- Before cleaning, make sure that the appliance is not connected to the power supply and that it has cooled down.
Descaling
This device has a built-in heating element that prevents scale formation. The
formation of scale depends on the hardness of the water and the frequency of
use of the device, so if you notice scale on the device, follow the steps
below.
- Remove the plug from the wall socket, and allow the appliance to cool.
- The kettle is fitted with a descaling filter. This filter must be removed for cleaning.
- Fill the kettle with a solution of a special decalcifying agent to the MAX level, and bring to a boil.
- Leave the kettle with a solution to stand for a couple of hours.
- Empty the kettle, fill it with clean water to the MAX level, and bring to a boil. Empty the kettle. Repeat this process twice.

- Warranty service is carried out only if there is a correctly and clearly filled original warranty card, which indicates: product model, date of sale, serial number, warranty service period, and the seller’s seal. *
- The service life of household appliances is 5 years.
- The product is intended for consumer use. When using the product in commercial activities, the seller / manufacturer does not bear warranty obligations, after-sales service s performed on a paid basis.
- Warranty repair is carried out within the period specified in the warranty card for the product in an authorized service center on the conditions and terms determined by applicable law.
- The product is withdrawn from the warranty in case of violation by the consumer of the operating rules set forth in the instruction manual.
- The product is removed from warranty service in the following cases:
- misuse and non-consumer use;
- mechanical damage;
- damage caused by the ingress of foreign objects, substances, liquids, insects;
- damage caused by natural disasters (rain, wind, lightning, etc.), fire, domestic factors (excessive humidity, dust, aggressive environment, etc.)
- damage caused by non-compliance of power and cable network parameters with state standards and other similar factors;
- when operating equipment in the power supply network with a missing single ground loop;
- in case of violation of seals installed on the product;
- lack of serial number of the device, or inability to identify it.
- The warranty does not cover consumables and accessories, as well as filters, shelves, drawers, stands and other containers for storing products.
- The warranty period is 12 months from the date of sale.
