TO REDUCE THE RISK OF ELECTROCUTION

1. Always unplug this appliance immediately after using it.
2. Do not use it while bathing.
3. Do not place or store appliances where it can fall or be pulled into a tub or sink.
4. Do not place in or drop into water or other liquid.
5. Do not reach for an appliance that has fallen into the water. unplug immediately.

WARNING: Do not use this appliance near bathtubs, showers, basins or other vessels containing water.

To reduce the risk of burns, electrocution, fire, or injury to a person:

1. An appliance should never be left unattended when plugged in.
2. Close supervision is necessary when this appliance is used by, on, or near children or individuals with certain disabilities.
3. Use this appliance only for its intended use as described in this manual. Do not use attachments not recommended by the manufacturer.
4. Never operate this appliance if it has been dropped, damaged, or dropped into water. Return the appliance to a service center for examination and repair.
5. Keep the cord away from heated surfaces. Do not wrap the cord around the appliance.
6. Never block the air openings of the appliance or place it on a soft surface, such as abed or couch, where the air openings may be blocked. Keep the air openings free of lint, hair, and the like.
7. Never use while sleeping.

11. This Straightening Brush gets hot when in use. Do not eyes and bare skin touch heated surfaces.
12. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
13. If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, after-sales service or similar qualified personnel to avoid danger.

GETTING STARTED

Before Use: Comb through hair with your normal brush so it is smooth and free of tangles.

IMPORTANT: Only use on clean and dry hair! Do not use it on extended hair. Do not use styling products (gels, creams, etc.).

• Plug into an electrical outlet and HOLD DOWN the “On/Off” button until the Display is illuminated.
• Press the “+/-“ buttons to select the desired temperature
• Press the “+/-“ buttons continuously to up /down to set the temperature quickly
• Press the “+/-“ buttons together to transfer °C to °F if your desire
• The appliance will display the temperature as it heats up

• The surface Temperatures of the appliance may vary from what is listed on the display.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR STRAIGHTENING HAIR

1. Separate a section of hair to be straightened.
2. Place the appliance close to the roots of the selected hair.
3. Hold the hair firmly and brush down from root to tip.

Repeat steps 1-3: for each length of hair until the desired area is straightened.

• Use the device slowly & carefully to avoid contact with the skin or scalp. Always take caution when using your free hand near the device.
• Allow the hair to cool down before applying the styling product.
• After use, press the “On/Off” button to turn “off”, the unplug your appliance.
• Wait until the appliance is completely cooled down before handling or storing it.

TEMPERATURE SETTING

• When powered “On” and heating up, the appliance will display the rise in temperature on the LCD display until the desired temperature is reached.
• To change between Centigrade to Fahrenheit press “+” and “-“ at the same time.
• The screen display will immediately change units.

AUTO SHUT OFF

The appliance has an automatic shut-off feature for safety. If the appliance is not used for more than 60 minutes continuously, then it will automatically switch “Off”. If you wish to continue using the appliance after this time, simply press the “On/Off” button to turn back “On”.

STORAGE

• When not in use, your appliance is easy to store.
• Please be sure the appliance is cooled down completely before storage. Store in a cool, dry place. Keep out of reach of children.
• Do not jerk or strain the cord at plug connections.

CLEANING

Never run the appliance under water or submerge in water. Unplug the appliance and allow to cool down before cleaning. Clean the appliance with a soft, dry cloth to wipe away residue or dust. A lightly damp cloth may be used with caution.

CORRECT DISPOSAL OF THIS PRODUCT

This marking indicates that this product should not be disposed of with other household wastes throughout the EU. To prevent possible harm to the environment or human health from uncontrolled waste disposal, recycle it responsibly to promote the sustainable reuse of material resources. DEVICE PRODUCTION DATE

The production date is indicated on the device itself (in the serial number) after «S/N», in the format: MMYYYYXXXXXXXXXX, where MM is the month of production, YYYY is the year of production.

Warranty conditions

The plant guarantees the normal operation of the product within 12 months from the date of the sale, provided that the consumer complies with the rules of operation and care provided by this Manual. The service life of the product is 5 years. In order to avoid any misunderstanding, we kindly ask you to carefully study the Owner’s Manual, the terms of the warranty, and check the correctness of filling the Warranty Card. The Warranty Card is valid only if the following information is correctly and clearly stated: model, serial number of the product, date of sale, clear seals of the company-seller, and signature of the buyer. The model and a serial number of the product must correspond to those specified in the Warranty Card. If these terms are violated, and if the information specified in the Warranty Card is changed, erased or rewritten, the Warranty Card is considered invalid. Setup and installation (assembly, connection, etc.) of the appliance are described in the attached documentation; they can be carried out both by the user and by specialists having the necessary qualification sent by USC or selling companies (on a paid basis).

In this case, the person (the institution) installing the appliance shall be responsible for the correctness and quality of installation (setup). Please pay attention to the importance of the correct installation of the appliance, both for its reliable operation and for obtaining a warranty and free service. Require the installation specialist to enter all the necessary information about the installation in the Warranty Card. In case of failure of the appliance during the warranty period by the fault of the manufacturer, the owner is entitled to free warranty repair upon presentation of the correctly filled Warranty Card together with the appliance in the factory configuration packed in the original packaging to the warranty workshop or the place of its purchase. Satisfaction of the customer’s claim due to the fault of the manufacturer shall be made in accordance with the law «On Protection of Consumers’ Rights». In the case of warranty repair, the warranty period shall be extended for the period of repair and shipment.

WARRANTY CARD

Dear Buyer! Congratulations on your purchase of the ARDESTO brand appliance, which was designed and manufactured in accordance with the highest quality standards, and we thank you for choosing this particular instrument. We ask you to keep the coupon during the warranty period. When purchasing a product, require a full warranty card.

1. Warranty service is carried out only if there is a correctly and clearly filled original warranty card, which indicates: the product model, date of sale, serial number, warranty service period, and the seller’s seal. *
2. The service life of household appliances is 5 years.
3. The product is intended for consumer use. When using the product in commercial activities, the seller/manufacturer does not bear warranty obligations, after-sales service is performed on a paid basis.
4. Warranty repair is carried out within the period specified in the warranty card for the product in an authorized service center on the conditions and terms determined by applicable law.
5. The product is withdrawn from the warranty in case of violation by the consumer of the operating rules set forth in the instruction manual.
6. The product is removed from warranty service in the following cases:
   • misuse and non-consumer use;
   • mechanical damage;
   • damage caused by the ingress of foreign objects, substances, liquids, or insects;
   • damage caused by natural disasters (rain, wind, lightning, etc.), fire, domestic factors (excessive humidity, dust, aggressive environment, etc.)
   • damage caused by non-compliance of power and cable network parameters with state standards and other similar factors;
   • when operating equipment in the power supply network with a missing single ground loop;
   • in case of violation of seals installed on the product;
   • lack of serial number of the device, or inability to identify it
7. The warranty does not cover consumables and accessories, as well as filters, shelves, drawers, stands, and other containers for storing products.
8. The warranty period is 12 months from the date of sale.

• Tear-off maintenance tickets are provided by an authorized service center.
