Product Information
The IBBTR18 is a Bluetooth adapter designed for streaming devices. It allows you to connect your streaming device to an audio system wirelessly. The adapter features a wireless remote control and can be installed out of sight. It also has a memory function that automatically reconnects with the last connected device. The IBBTR18 comes with a wiring diagram for easy installation.

Installation Tips:
- Ensure your streaming device has wireless mode enabled and power is applied to the IBBTR18. The blue LED on the IBBTR18 will blink to indicate pairing mode.
- Select IBBTR18 from the list of pairable devices in your streaming device’s wireless setup menu.
- When successfully connected, the blue LED on the IBBTR18 will stop blinking and remain lit. A single beep will be heard through the connected audio system.
- To turn the amplifier on/off, connect the blue wire (remote out) to the amplifier’s remote.
- The IBBTR18 will automatically remember and reconnect with the last connected device. If a connected streaming device is out of range for more than one minute, the IBBTR18 will automatically disconnect it and return to pairing mode (LED will blink).
- The IBBTR18 can be installed out of sight and comes with a wireless remote for convenient control.
Operation Guide
- Double-click the pairing button to pair the wireless remote with the controller.
- Press the + and – buttons to adjust the volume level.
- Press the button to go to the previous track.
- Press the button to go to the next track.
- Press the button to play or pause music.
- Press the button to switch between wireless and auxiliary modes.
- The operation LED (blue) will flash once, and the pairing LED (blue) will flash during pairing mode.
Changing the Battery
The IBBTR18’s remote control uses a CR2032 battery that lasts for approximately two years. To change the battery:
- Ensure the groove is aligned to unlock the cover at the back of the remote control.
- Use a coin to open the battery compartment cover.
- Use a sharp pin to pop out the old cell battery.
- Replace the old battery with a new CR2032 battery.
- Put the cover back, aligning the groove with the icon.
- Use a coin to turn and lock the cover.
Installing the Rubber Band
To install the IBBTR18 unit into the plastic adapter and use the included rubber band for the steering wheel and bar mounting:
- Snap the unit into the plastic adapter.
- Hold the rubber against the steering wheel and wrap it around.
- Hook it up securely using the included rubber band.
Sling for Remote Control
- Use the included sling to carry the waterproof remote control.

Installation Tips
- Ensure your streaming device has wireless mode enabled and that power is applied to the IBBTR18. (The blue LED on the IBBTR18 will blink to indicate it is in pairing mode.)
- Within your streaming device’s wireless setup menu, select “IBBTR18” from the list of pairable devices.

- Double-click the pairing “ ” button to pair the wireless remote with a controller.
- Press “ +” & “-” for level up & down.
- Press to track forward & backward.
- Press “ ” to play and pause music.
- Press the “ ” button to switch between wireless and Aux modes.
- Operation LED (Blue) flashes once. Pairing LED (Blue) flashes.
Change Battery
The cell battery is designed to last for two years. If it runs out of power,
remove the cover at the back.
Use a sharp pin to pop it out, and put in a standard CR2032 battery.
- When the groove is aligned it is locked.
- Use a coin to open the battery compartment cover.
- Use a sharp pin to pop out the old cell battery, and replace it with a new one.
- Put the cover back. Align the groove with the icon.
- Use a coin to turn and lock the cover.
Installing the Rubber Band
Snap the unit into the plastic adapter. Using the included rubber band for steering wheel and bar mounting, hold the rubber against the steering wheel. Wrap it around, then hook it up.
Taking the Remote Out of Adapter
Hold the plastic adapter and turn the remote until it pops out.
Sling for Remote Control
Use the included sling to carry this waterproof remote control.
