Product Information
The CALEX SMART product is a smart lamp that can be controlled using a smartphone app. It requires a Wi-Fi connection to function and is compatible with both Android and iOS devices. The lamp operates on a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network and does not support 5GHz networks. The product comes with a reset feature that allows you to troubleshoot any connectivity issues.
Usage Instructions

Before setting up the CALEX SMART product, ensure that you have the name and password of your Wi-Fi network, including any spaces and capital letters.

Make sure you have a strong Wi-Fi signal for uninterrupted connectivity.

If your network operates on a 5GHz frequency, you need to change it to 2.4GHz. Contact your internet provider for assistance with this step.

Download the CALEX SMART app from the Google Play Store for Android devices or the Apple Store for iOS devices. Alternatively, you can scan the QR code to access the app.

If you are using the app for the first time, follow the on-screen instructions to create your account.

Turn on the lamp. If your phone has Bluetooth enabled, it will automatically connect to the lamp. If not, manually add the lamp by tapping the “+” symbol located in the top right corner of the app screen. Follow the prompts to complete the installation
process. -
If you encounter any issues with connectivity, try resetting the lamp by turning it off and on three times. The lamp will start= blinking, indicating that it has been reset. Proceed with step 6 after resetting.

Getting started
Before you start adding this CALEX SMART product, write down the name and password, including spaces and capital letters, of your WIFI network. Make sure you have a strong Wi-Fi signal.
Note: This item only works on 2.4GHz WiFi network, not on 5GHz WiFi network. If you get a message that the product only works on 2.4 GHz networks, then you need to change your network’s Wi-Fi frequency to 2.4 GHz in the settings menu of the router. Please contact your internet provider for this.
- Download the CALEX SMART app from the Google Play Store, the Apple Store or scan the QR code.
- Open the app. Are you using the app for the first time? Then follow the instructions on the screen to create your account.
- Turn on lamp. Do you have Bluetooth on your phone and is it turned on? Then a connection is made automatically. Can’t connect automatically? Then add this lamp by touching the + (top right corner of the screen). Follow the prompts to

- Reset: You may need to reset the product first. You do this by switching the lamp o ff and on again three times. The lamp will start blinking. Then proceed with step 3.
