Product Information
The product mentioned in this user manual is the Calex Outdoor Smart Plug, also known as CalexLink. It is a smart plug that allows you to control your outdoor lights and other devices from your smartphone. The CalexLink can be connected to your home Wi-Fi network and controlled through the Calex Smart app. It also has Bluetooth connectivity for easy setup.
Product Usage Instructions
- Download the Calex Smart app from the Google Play Store or the Apple Store.
- Before starting the installation, note the name of your WiFi network and its password. Make sure your phone’s Bluetooth is enabled and open the app. Follow the on-screen instructions to create your account. To add the CalexLink, touch ‘add device’ (+), select the product from the list, and follow the on-screen instructions.
- Plug the CalexLink into an outlet and press the button for 5 seconds. The blue LED will start blinking. Follow the on-screen instructions to connect the CalexLink to your Wi-Fi network by selecting it (+) and filling in your Wi-Fi name and password.
- The CalexLink is now ready to use. You can control your outdoor lights and other devices through the Calex Smart app on your smartphone.
- If you need to reset the CalexLink, press the button for 5 seconds.
- You can also create a Mesh network by adding other Calex Outdoor products to the CalexLink.

Set up in 4 easy steps

Download the Calex Smart app from the Google Play store, the Apple Store or scan the QR code.
Before starting the installation, you will need to note the name of your WiFi network and its password, remember to respect spaces and capital letters. Note: this item only works on a 2.4GHz Wifi network, not on a 5GHz WiFi network. Please consult the manual of your router for settings. -
Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone. Open the app. First time user? Follow on-screen instructions to create your account. To add the CalexLink start by touching ‘add device’ (+), select the product from the list and follow the on-screen instructions.

Connecting. Plug the CalexLink into an outlet. Press the button for 5 seconds. The blue led starts to blink. Follow the on-screen instructions. Select the CalexLink (+) and fill in your Wi-Fi name and password. Follow the on-screen instructions.
Reset procedure: Press the button for 5 seconds to reset. CalexLink is now ready to create your own Mesh network by adding other Calex Outdoor products.
