Thank you for purchasing our products, please read the user guide carefully before use. Our user guide contains necessary safety advice and user instructions, follow them to operate in order to avoid damaging the product for misuse. Check the product in good condition when received.

How to Use
Please install the base to the product host with the following way before use
Please make the base hole (see fig. 1) aim at the host hole at the bottom (see fig. 2), and fix it securely (see fig. 3), then fasten the screws via a screwdriver to assemble completely.
Product Functions
- Our product supports phone app control and host buttons control.
- Manual mode: Press the host buttons to control the light colors and other functions.
- Bluetooth mode: Use a phone app to control the light colors and other functions, customize the time of the device power on/off.
- Within Bluetooth connecting effective range (7 meters), it supports connecting two ambient light automatically and working synchronously. If the app fails to search these devices when you purchase a number of them, please long press “ ” for 5 seconds till white lights flash 2 times to reset the device, and devices will automatically pair again.
- Rhythmic mode: Picking up external sounds through the ambient light “mic”, the ambient light can create rhythmic effects according to the ambient sound rhythm.
Host Buttons Descriptions
- Power : Long press 3 seconds to turn on/off the host. Once powered on, the ambient light default show multi-colored lights in rhythmic mode. Short press to change colors: light green – light blue – yellow – orange – purple – pink – white gradient – red – green – blue – multi-colored jumping mode in cycle.
- M : Short press “M” to choose the lighting modes: keep on mode – breathing mode – rhythmic mode. Under breathing mode or rhythmic mode, long press “M” to choose the light changing ways: bottom-up / middle-side / top-down in cycle. (Keep on mode cannot adjust the light changing ways)
- Brightness : Short press to adjust 4 brightness levels in cycle (100% – 80% – 50% – 20%), long press to reset the device (white lights flash 2 times)
- Type-C Port : Input DC 5V/1A (max: 2A)
Notice: Connect power supply to the ambient light, it default shows multi-colored lights in rhythmic mode. It means the lights bars begin with multi-colored lights, then going to rhythmic mode (requires external sounds to show the lights). Unplug and restart the device will back to the default status.
App Operating Instructions
- Smart app introduction and operation
Bluetooth mode
- Please turn on your phone Bluetooth, or the product won’t be connected.
- Download the app by scanning the following QR code.
- Search for “Smart Night Light” app through Google Play(for Android) or App Store(for Apple-iOS) and download it.
Register and log in to the app
- Open the “Smart Night Light” app.
- Log in your account and password. Please register a new account on first use.
App operating instruction
- Connect the ambient light with the power supply, go to the app interface(fig.1), click “Add Device” to “Product Selection” interface(fig.2). Choose the product, it will skip to “Find the Device” interface(fig.3) (Please allow the app to access Bluetooth and previously turn on the Bluetooth. Note: For Android, please also allow access to the location and turn on the location). Power on the device and keep close to the app to identify the device, see the pop-up shown(fig.4), then add the found device.
- Click “Smart Night Light” to the app interface, touch “ ” to turn on/off the LED light. Customize product name via “ ” at the top right-hand corner.
- Click “ ” at the top right-hand corner to set the timer of the device auto power on/off.
- Click “ ” to the countdown function. When powered on, click “Confirm” to perform the countdown shutdown. When powered off, click “Confirm” to perform the startup countdown and “Close” to cancel it.

Light interface, features as follows

Light Interface only can change the light colors, the light changing status depends on corresponding mode selected on Mode Interface and light changing ways.
- Color palette: Touch color palette to automatically display the color picker, click / drag the color picker to change light colors. The recommended color can not be selected when you adjust the color palette.
- 8 Recommended colors: Multi-colored, light green, cyan blue, bright yellow, sun orange, violet, pink, white gradient.
- Brightness adjustment: Adjust the light brightness.
Mode interface, features as follows

Dynamic light effects: According to the ambient light mode setting and light changing ways to show the corresponding dynamic lighting effects.
Modes selections
- Keep on mode: The ambient light always keep on, this mode can only adjust the light colors switching speeds.
- Breathing mode: The ambient light show breathing lights, this mode can adjust the light changing ways (3 options: bottom-up / middle-side / top-down) / light changing speeds / light colors switching speeds.
- Rhythmic mode: The ambient light show rhythmic lights and changes by picking up external sounds. This mode can adjust the light changing ways (3 options: bottom-up / middle-side / top-down) / light changing speeds / sensitivity.
Customize interface, features as follows
- customize color,
- recommended light effects.
It defaults to an empty custom color. Sliding and seeing all the custom light effects if there exists many custom colors. Maximum up to 8 custom colors available.
- Customize color: Click “+” to add a custom color, or click the “edit” icon at the top right-hand corner of the selected custom color for editing.
- Click “name” to customize the current light name; click “delete” at the top right-hand corner to delete the current custom light; click “save” at the bottom right-hand corner to save it.
Custom color modes
- solid color mode,
- multi-colored mode
Solid color mode: Set solid color groups for the whole ambient light, click / drag the color picker to change colors. 4 color changing modes for options: a. static mode; b. jump mode; c. segmented gradient; d. full gradient.
- Static mode: Only choose one color, all the ambient light will show the single light effect.
- Jumping mode: Choose at least 2 colors , at most 8 colors to form a color group, and the ambient light will show the selected colors one by one with jumping mode in cycle.
- Segmented gradient: Choose at least 2 colors, at most 8 colors to form a color group, These selected colors will segment equally, the ambient light will gradually show each segmented color in cycle.
- Full gradient: Choose at least 2 colors, at most 8 colors to form a color group, the ambient light will show the selected colors one by one with gradual mode in cycle.
Under jumping mode or gradient mode, click “+” / “-” to add / delete color circles, click “preview” to preview the current solid light effect for a 10-second countdown, click “x” to cancel preview.
- Multi-colored mode: Set colors for each LED bead.
Click / drag the color picker to change colors on your selected color circle.
Select all: When all color circles are not selected or just some color circles are selected, click “select all” to select all the color circles, or cancel it.
Color transition switch: Switch this button on, the ambient light show the selected colors on each LED bead; switch it off, the ambient light can gradually transit one color to another one.
Color circle group: 2 choices for each color circle. Color circles include red, orange, yellow, green, cyan, blue, purple and white. Click each color circle means the color selection completely (drag the color picker, it shows a ticked symbol in highlight). Click again to cancel selection (ticked symbol disappeared).
Troubleshooting – Fail to Connect to Phone Bluetooth
- Please check your phone Bluetooth access permission and turn on the Bluetooth. (for Android, please also allow access to the location and turn on the location)
- Please check the ambient light power on and keep close to the connection range (0~10m).
- Please check your phone app to connect to the correct product model“BL-FWD01”.
- Please check if your phone network works normally.
