Product Information

The Electronic Kitchen Scale (Model SCK-839B) is equipped with a high- precision stain-gauge sensor and high-capability CPU to ensure weighing accuracy. It has an LED display with a white backlight for easy reading. The scale has a capacity of 5 kg and a graduation of 1 g. It can weigh in units of grams (g), pounds (lbs), and ounces (oz). The scale features zero and tare functions, auto power off, overload indicator, and low battery indicator. It is powered by 2 3V CR2032 lithium batteries and has a suitable working temperature range of 10-40 C.

Product Usage Instructions

For the purpose of using and maintaining the kitchen scale, please read the instruction leaflet before operating.
Delivery Set: Check the contents of the package to ensure all components are included.
Operation
Press the ON/OFF button to power on the scale. After 3 seconds, the display will show “0:00”.
Press the UNIT button to choose the desired weight unit (grams, pounds, or ounces).
Place the container on the scale, and the LCD screen will show the weight of the container.
Error Display Introduction: Refer to the user manual for information on error messages displayed by the scale.
Installing Batteries: Open the battery cover on the back of the scale, insert 2 3V CR2032 lithium batteries into the battery case, and close the battery cover securely.
Environmental Safety: Dispose of old electric devices, including the kitchen scale, in accordance with local regulations. Do not dispose of them with unsorted community waste.

Keep children away from the device.
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or by those with a lack of experience and knowledge unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
Do not immerse the device in water. Do not expose the unit to direct sunlight. Do not use the blender near heat-producing units like ovens and cooking stoves.
Do not use the device if it is damaged. In order to avoid dangers, defective components should only be replaced by the manufacturer, his customer service or by similarly qualified persons. Do not open this device.
Never attempt to repair this device yourself. Repairs should only be performed by qualified professionals.
Always put the scale on a clean and flat table.
The max. weight the scale can handle is 5000g
To ensure the life of the scale do not put the scale under wet, hot & cold conditions.
The product is a high-precision electronic weighing apparatus. Therefore do not drop otherwise the scale can be easily damaged.
If the scale surface is dirty, please clean the scale with a soft cloth, do not use any chemical detergent and don’t allow water to get inside the scale.
If the result appears improper, please check whether the batteries and the touching point contact well. Replace with new batteries if used for a long time already, then try again.

NOTES FOR BATTERIES

Do not expose batteries to extreme heat, such as from sunlight, fire, etc.
Only use top-quality batteries. Cheap batteries could leak and damage the device as a result.
If the batteries leak, remove them with a cloth and dispose of them accordingly. Ensure that leaking battery acid does not come into contact with skin and eyes. If you do get battery acid in your eyes, flush them thoroughly with lots of water and consult a physician immediately! If battery acid comes into contact with your skin, wash the affected area with lots of water and soap.
If the device is not to be used for an extended period of time, then the batteries should be removed, as the device could become damaged should they leak. If the device functions weaken, replace all batteries.
Batteries are very dangerous if swallowed.
Please keep the batteries and the device components away from children at all times. If a battery is swallowed, seek medical attention immediately.
Batteries must not be recharged or activated with other means, dismantled, thrown into fire or short-circuited.
Remove the battery prior to disposing of the device.

Keep all packaging material away from children.
Dispose of the packaging materials in an appropriate way. Contact your local authorities about collection points or waste separation.
The device is intended for private use only and must not be used for commercial purposes.

OPERATION

Take out the scale, and open up the battery cover, install the batteries in the battery compartment.
Put the scale on a flat table, and ensure it is steady.

WEIGHTING STEP

Press the key “ON/OFF” to power it on. “0:00” appears on the display after 3 seconds.
Press the key of “UNIT”, and you can choose the weight unit.
Put the container, the LCD screen will show the weight of the container.

ERROR DISPLAY INTRODUCTION

When the scale is overloaded, the “E” will appear on the display.
When the screen shows “LO”, it means that there is a power shortage, please change the batteries as soon as possible.

INTRODUCTION OF USING AND INSTALLING THE BATTERIES

Use 2 х 3V CR2032 lithium battery
When you change the batteries, please open the battery cover on the back, put 2 batteries in the battery case then close the battery cover tight.

ENVIRONMENTAL SAFETY

Disposal of old electric devices
Used household devices should not be disposed of with unsorted community waste. These used devices must be collected separately from household waste in order to increase the percentage of recovered devices and to recycle their parts, with the goal of reducing the negative effects on human health and on the environment.

The symbol of the crossed-out garbage can be stamped onto all devices as a reminder of the obligation to put them in a separate garbage collection. The consumer must consult local authorities or the vendor to inform themselves about the manner in which their device should be disposed of.

Batteries do not belong in household waste! Expired batteries must be disposed of in an environmentally friendly way and according to the applicable legal regulations.
Remove the battery prior to disposing of the device.

Warranty

Warranty conditions

The plant guarantees normal operation of the product within 12 months from the date of the sale, provided that the consumer complies with the rules of operation and care provided by this Manual.
The service life of the product is 5 years.
In order to avoid any misunderstanding we kindly ask you to carefully study the Owner’s Manual, and the terms of warranty, and check the correctness of filling out the Warranty Card. The Warranty Card is valid only if the following information is correctly and clearly stated: model, serial number of the product, date of sale, clear seals of the company seller, and signature of the buyer. The model and serial number of the product must correspond to those specified in the Warranty Card.
If these terms are violated, and if the information specified in the Warranty Card is changed, erased or rewritten, the Warranty Card is considered invalid.
Setup and installation (assembly, connection, etc.) of the appliance are described in the attached documentation; they can be carried out both by the user and by specialists having the necessary qualifications set by USC or selling companies (on a paid basis). In this case, the person (the institution) installing the appliance shall be responsible for the correctness and quality of installation (setup). Please pay attention to the importance of the correct installation of the appliance, both for its reliable operation and for obtaining a warranty and free service. Require the installation specialist to enter all the necessary information about the installation in the Warranty Card.
In case of failure of the appliance during the warranty period by the fault of the manufacturer, the owner is entitled to free warranty repair upon presentation of the correctly filled Warranty Card together with the appliance in the factory configuration packed in the original packaging to the warranty workshop or the place of its purchase. Satisfaction of the customer’s claim due to the fault of the manufacturer shall be made in accordance with the law «On Protection of Consumers’ Rights». In the case of warranty repair, the warranty period shall be extended for the period of repair and shipment.

WARRANTY CARD

We ask you to keep the coupon during the warranty period. When purchasing a product, require a full warranty card.

Warranty service is carried out only if there is a correctly and clearly filled original warranty card, which indicates: the product model, date of sale, serial number, warranty service period, and the seller’s seal. *
The service life of household appliances is 5 years.
The product is intended for consumer use. When using the product in commercial activities, the seller/manufacturer does not bear warranty obligations, and after-sales service is performed on a paid basis.
Warranty repair is carried out within the period specified in the warranty card for the product in an authorized service centre on the conditions and terms determined by applicable law.
The product is withdrawn from the warranty in case of violation by the consumer of the operating rules set forth in the instruction manual.
The product is removed from warranty service in the following cases:
- misuse and non-consumer use;
- mechanical damage;
- damage caused by the ingress of foreign objects, substances, liquids, and insects;
- damage caused by natural disasters (rain, wind, lightning, etc.), fire, domestic factors (excessive humidity, dust, aggressive environment, etc.)
- damage caused by non-compliance of power and cable network parameters with state standards and other similar factors;
- when operating equipment in the power supply network with a missing single ground loop;
- in case of violation of seals installed on the product;
- lack of serial number of the device, or inability to identify it.
The warranty does not cover consumables and accessories, as well as filters, shelves, drawers, stands and other containers for storing products.
The warranty period is 12 months from the date of sale.
