CHARGING THE PROJECTOR

Before using the projector, connect it to the charger, plug the USB end of the charging cable into a wall charger or similar power source and allow it to fully charge. This process should take about three hours. Always use the original charger that was provided to ensure proper charging, and make sure the power rating of the adapter for the charging cable is ≤ 2.4A. The four indicator lights will show the approximate battery capacity, with each light representing approximately 25% battery life. One indicator light lit means the battery is at less than 25% and should be charged soon. Two lights means the battery percentage is between 25% and 49%, and so on. Four lights lit means that battery is fully charged.

USING THE PROJECTOR TO CHARGE DEVICES

When the projector is powered on, you can connect the charging cable of your device to the USB port of the projector, and it will operate as a mobile power bank to charge your electronic devices. The power output is 5V/1A.

USING THE AUDIO OUT JACK

While the projector does include built-in speakers for regular use, you can also connect either headphones or a portable speaker to the 3.5mm AUDIO OUT jack as shown in the below image.

POWERING THE PROJECTOR ON/OFF

To turn the projector on or off, simply hold the power button on the side for three (3) seconds. Once powered on, the projector’s main menu will display the remaining battery percentage

CONTROLLING PHOTO PLAYBACK

If you have a gallery of photo files, your projector will automatically begin a slideshow of all photos on your device when you select Images from the main menu. In slideshow mode, each photo will automatically display in the order they are stored. To access the controls during playback, you will first need to tap the center circle button on top of the projector to bring up the control menu. Then you may perform the following actions:

  • Pause the slideshow: tap the center circle button. Tap it again to resume.
  • Play next image: tap the > button.
  • Return to previous image: tap the < button

CONTROLLING VIDEO PLAYBACK

To view videos from a connected device, navigate to Movies from the main menu, and the projector will automatically populate a list of compatible video files. To access the controls during your video’s playback, you will first need to tap the center circle button on top of the projector to bring up the control menu. Then you may perform the following actions:

  • Pause video: tap the center circle button. Tap it again to resume.
  • Fast forward: tap the > button. To increase the fast forward speed, tap the button again. Each press will increase the speed in this order: 2x, 4x, 8x, 16x.
  • Rewind: tap the < button. To increase the rewind speed, tap the button again. Each press will increase the speed in this order: 2x, 4x, 8x, 16x.
  • Exit video playback: Tap the button to return to the list of video files available for playback. Tap the button a second time to exit out to the main menu completely.

ADJUSTING FOCUS

If the image on the screen appears fuzzy or unfocused when you turn the projector on, use the focus wheel on the side to correct the image. Turn the wheel up or down until the image appears sharp and clear.

NOTE: If a specific image or video remains fuzzy after adjusting the focus wheel, try hitting the back button to return to the main menu. If the main menu graphics appear clear and the image is still fuzzy, the problem may be the image or video quality.

ADJUSTING VOLUME

During playback, if you need to adjust the volume, touch the button, and the screen will display the volume bar

CONNECT YOUR DEVICES

A. USB Drives or Micro SD Cards
To access photos or videos stored on any USB drive or micro SD card, simply insert the drive or card into the corresponding port on the side. The projector will read the files directly from the drive or card.

B. HDMI® Compatible Devices
If you’re using an HDMI compatible device, such as a laptop, personal computer, smartphone, tablet, or video game console, connect an HDMI cable from the device to your projector. To make things a little easier, we’ve compiled this table of devices and adapters for your convenience.

Please note, if you connect an HDMI device as well as a micro SD card or USB drive, the HDMI device will take precedence and you will need to disconnect it to access the other connected sources

VIEWING DISTANCE AND SCREEN SIZE

See the chart below to see how far away to place your projector from the display area to create the intended screen size

USING THE PROJECTOR

  • Turn the projector on and connect your device.
  • Optionally, connect a speaker or headphones to the AUDIO OUT jack.
