Thank you for purchasing the KODAK 1.8x Magnifying LED Slide Viewer. This User Guide is intended to provide you with guidelines to ensure that operation of this product is safe and does not pose risk to the user. Any use that does not conform to the guidelines described in this User Guide may void the limited warranty.
Please read all directions carefully before using the product and retain this guide for reference. This product is intended for household use only. It is not intended for commercial use.
This product is covered by a limited one-year warranty. Coverage is subject to limits and exclusions. See warranty for details.

4. SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
WARNING! Please read all safety precautions and instructions carefully before using this product.

Do not attempt to disassemble this device for any reason.

Do not try to open the device’s casing or attempt to modify it in any way.
Doing so could create the risk of serious accident or injury and will void the product’s limited warranty. -
Maintenance and repairs to this product should always be performed exclusively by authorized service providers. Do not attempt to repair this product on your own.

Keep the unit away from all types of moisture, as this could damage the internal components and create the risk of fire and electrical shock.

Never operate the unit with wet hands, as you could damage the product or cause serious injury to yourself.

Never use the unit in the rain or snow.

To avoid the risk of accidents, choking hazards, or damaging the unit, keep it and all included accessories out of the reach of children and/or animals.

Batteries are not included. When inserting batteries, make sure that the positive and negative polarities match with the markings in the compartment.

Do not mix old and new batteries together.

6. INSTALLING BATTERIES
- Remove the battery door from the bottom of the slide viewer.
- Insert four (4) AA batteries (not included) into the battery compartment.
- Close the compartment with the battery door.
7. VIEWING A SLIDE
- Fold out the lens cover to position the magnifying lens over the backlight.
- Move the power switch to the ON position to turn on the backlight.
- To view a slide, place it over the backlight and under the magnifying lens.
- When you are finished using the unit, fold up the magnifying lens and turn off the device.
8. CARE & MAINTENANCE
- When storing for an extended length of time, remove the batteries from the battery compartment and store the slide viewer in a dry place.
- Clean the magnifying lens with a soft dry cotton cloth or lens cleaning paper.
