Additional Safety Instructions
In order to safely use the cleaner, make sure you have read and understood all of these instructions and have checked the machine prior to operation. Try using the machine on concrete or an unpainted brick wall to get accustomed to the usage.
Machine, hose and plug must be checked prior to operation. Defective parts must be replaced.
Do not direct the jet at power sockets, people, animals or the machine itself.
Do not touch the electrical plug or any wall sockets with wet hands.
Use the handle to move the machine. Do NOT drag the power cord to move the unit.
When unplugging power, grasp the plug itself, not the cord.
Keep the power cord in a dry location when in use.
To achieve maximum operating pressure, the outlet hose should be at least 3M long.
Do not use the pressure cleaner in a flammable environment.
Take care against kickback when operating the trigger gun. Always use two hands to grip the gun firmly before pressing the trigger.
Only press the switch once the high pressure hose is tightly fixed.
Always wear protective clothing, gloves and safety goggles. Do not operate barefoot or in sandals.
Keep hands away from jets of water, and beware of water reflecting back off surfaces.
Do not direct water onto fire or hot surfaces. Heat particles and steam can be very dangerous.
Use your hand ONLY to squeeze the trigger. Do not jam trigger to the ON position.
Before disconnecting the high pressure hose, turn off the machine first, then squeeze the trigger until there is no more water pressure left in the system.
Do not bend, twist or fold the hose.
A fluctuating or excessive high water pressure may be a signal of a defect or accumulation of calcium in the hose. If this occurs, turn the machine off immediately.
Do not run the cleaner without water. This will damage it.
Before starting the machine, full open the water supply tap. Be careful not to bend the hose.
If the machine hose or tube freezes in the winter, do not use the machine. Before storage, the water must be drained from the machine. Always store the washer in a secure, dry location.
Do not use the machine in a dirty location.
Place machine on flat surface.
Seawater is not suitable for use with this machine.
This appliance is not intended for long-term industrial use.
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or cognitive capabilities, or lack of experience or knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
The function of the safety valve: when the pressure exceeds the preset value, the valve returns the excess fluid into the inlet system.
The function of the pressure switch: when flow to the gun is halted, the pressure switch will activate, cutting off the power supply for protective reasons.
Assembly
Before use, please assemble the high pressure cleaner step by step. First,
connect the water feeding pipe to the suction pipe by making use of a
stiffened tube, then connect the other end of the suction pipe to the machines
inlet (See fig 1).
Connect the pressure hose to the machine’s outlet (See fig 2).
The outlet is made of Al-alloy. If the hole is extremely narrow, you can
use some lubrication oil. Turn the water supply on, making sure the tap is
fully open. Check to ensure the whole appliance is watertight and airtight.
Press the gun trigger so that the air and any pressure waste go out from the
piping. Now you can start the equipment up.
WARNING: Do not direct the jet against people, animals or any high
voltage wiring. Always disconnect the appliance from the power supply before
you change any parts.
WARNING: User must wear protective clothes before working with the
appliance. After use, make sure the appliance and hose are both dried. Check
the supply voltage. The voltage shown on the rating plate must match the
supply voltage. Use only watertight power plugs and cords, with rubber
insulation enclosures. Inadequate extension cords can be dangerous. Connect
the hose to the jet gun (see fig 4) Connect the nozzle to the jet gun
(see fig 3). Turn the nozzle clockwise until it locks into position, so
the sealing ring is not damaged. All spare parts for the jet gun are equipped
with ring-nut connection. Connect the hose to the machine. Check that the seal
ring is properly seated.
Connect to the water supply
The cleaner is not suitable for connection directly to potable water mains.
Connect the machine to the water supply (alternately it can be a water
container). Make sure the inlet water pressure keeps between 0.01MPa and
0.3MPa. The inlet pipe should be at least 5M long. Do not use the pipe if the
pipe is damaged. If you want to connect the unit to potable water mains, you
must install a backflow preverter in the water pipe to prevent dirty water
flowing back into the drinking system. The backflow preventer must comply with
EN 60335-2-79 ANNEX AA.
Overheating protection
The machine has an overheating protection device. It turns the unit off
automatically if it overheats, in which case you should turn off the cleaner
and remove the plug from the mains supply. Once theunit has had some time to
cool down, you can switch it back on again.
CAUTION
Some painted or treated surfaces may be susceptible to damage from high
pressure cleaning. Always keep a good distance away from the surface you are
cleaning.
USE OF THE APPLIANCE
Connect the pressure hose to the water outlet of the appliance, then connect
the jet gun to the other
end of the pressure hose.
Connect the lance to the nozzle.
Check that the filter is clean.
Connect the water hose to the water inlet of the appliance.
Do not bend, twist or fold the hose.
Turn on the water supply at the tap and check the whole machine for any signs
of water leakage.
At first, air in the appliance may cause unstable pressure. Discharge the air in the machine by squeezing the trigger until nothing is coming out. Connect the plug to the power socket, then turn on the machine. Use two hands to hold the appliance steady. Squeeze the trigger and then use the high pressure cleaner.
SWITCHING OFF THE UNIT
Turn off the water supply at the tap. Press the trigger to reduce the pressure
in the appliance. Pull out the water inlet hose, then let the machine run for
a few seconds to drain the water that is still stored in the pump. Switch off
the appliance and disconnect the electric plug from the socket. Detach the
pressure hose. To drain residual water, life up the jet gun and squeeze the
trigger.
USER MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR
Disconnect unit from electrical supply before performing any maintenance. Turn
off the water supply at the tap and press the trigger to discharge built up
pressure. Lubricate the fixings periodically using lubrication oil. When the
water pressure is not consistent or is too high, this is a sign of a defective
hose or calcium buildup in the nozzle. In this event, turn off the machine
immediately. Use the nozzle cleaner to clean the hose and the water inlet
filter. Change the defective filter. Make sure that the machine is clean by
cleaning the components when necessary. Ensure that you have followed the
instructions regarding different parts (ie – pluggable ring-nuts are used to
connect the gun, hose and other parts.) The seals of the ring-nut connections
must be inspected for damage. Fasten the detergent tank to the foam nozzle
securely. Turn on the machine, mix a mild household cleaning agent at a
proportion of 1:10 with water. Keep the appliance safe and store carefully in
a secure dry place. Always store the machine out of reach of children. Avoid
storing the washer in temperatures below frost point. Cut off the power if the
appliance malfunctions.
