Product Information
The Model 350 Double Check Valve Assembly is designed for installation on water lines to protect against both back siphonage and back pressure of polluted water into the water supply. It provides protection where a potential health hazard does not exist. The assembly is made of high-quality materials such as cast bronze, reinforced nylon, stainless steel, and FDA-approved elastomers. Itfeatures threaded end connections and is available in sizes 3/4, 1, 1-1/4, 1-1/2, and 2.

Product Usage Instructions
- Determine the appropriate size of the Model 350 Double CheckValve Assembly based on your water line.
- Ensure that there is no potential health hazard present in the water supply.
- Install the assembly on the water line using the threaded end connections.
- If required, choose the desired options for the assembly, such as full port QT ball valves or a lead-free strainer.
- If needed, install any additional accessories such as a repair kit, thermal expansion tank, quick test fitting set, or winterizing blow out/flush fitting.
- For outdoor installations, follow the provided diagram to ensure proper direction of flow and protective enclosure placement.
- For indoor installations, follow the provided diagram to ensure the proper direction of flow.
- Regularly inspect and maintain the assembly according to the user manual to ensure optimal performance and protection against back siphonage and backpressure.

TYPICAL INSTALLATION
Local codes shall govern installation requirements. To be installed in accordance with the manufacturers’ instructions and the latest edition of the Uniform Plumbing Code. Unless otherwise specified, the assembly shall be mounted at a minimum of 12” (305mm) and a maximum of 30” (762mm) above adequate drains with sufficient side clearance for testing and maintenance. If installed below grade, be certain adequate drainage is provided to prevent the device from being submerged.

Specifications
The Double Check Valve Backflow Preventer shall be ASSE® Listed 1015, rated to 180°F and supplied with full port ball valves. The main body shall be Bronze for sizes 3/4″ & 1″, and Nylon for sizes 1-1/4″ to 2″. The housing shall be reinforced Nylon and the seat disc elastomers shall be silicone (FDA Approved). The first and second checks shall be accessible for maintenance without removing the device from the line. The Double Check Valve Backflow Preventer shall be a ZURN WILKINS Model 350.
