MATICA XID-M300 Retransfer Printer

Product Information

The XID-M300 is a printer designed for card printing. It comes with various accessories and components, including a power cord, USB cable, output hopper, cleaning card, and cleaning swab.
The printer is capable of printing high-quality cards and requires the installation of drivers and software.

Product Usage Instructions

1. Opening the printer box:
2. Remove all 4 plastic locking clips at the base of the printer box.
3. Carefully slide the box upwards.
4. Remove the accessories box.
5. Remove the foam packing from the printer and lift the printer onto the desired desk location.
6. Remove any plastic protective films from the printer.
7. Retain and store all packing materials for future use. If there are any warranty returns, they should be sent in the original packaging.
8. Contents checklist: Please make sure that all the components and accessories listed below are included in the box. If there are any missing or damaged items, please contact your dealer for assistance.

9. Power your printer: Connect the power cord to the printer and a power source.
10. Visit: www.maticagroup.com/install or scan the provided QR code using your computer’s webcam to access the installation page. Follow the online instructions for installation.
11. Download and install driver: Follow the instructions provided during the driver installation process.
12. Register your printer: Visit the provided website and follow the online instructions to register your printer.
13. Installing the color ribbon and retransfer film into your printer:
14. Open the printer.
15. Release the color ribbon cassette (red).
16. Release the retransfer film cassette (black).
17. Install the color ribbon and retransfer the film according to the provided instructions.
18. Connecting the output hopper:
19. Attach the output hopper to the printer.
20. Card loading:
21. Unlock the cassette(s) by sliding left and lifting up and out.
22. Open the lid and locate the cardholder slider.
23. Load cards into the cassette(s) following the provided orientation.
24. Adjust the card thickness using the slide adjuster located on the base of the cassette.
25. Set up complete: You are now ready to start printing!
26. Replacing input cassette:If needed, slide the input cassette to the far left, load the cards, and shut the lid.

Installing the color ribbon and retransfer film into your printer

• Open printer
  • Release the color ribbon cassette (red)
• Release the RT film cassette (black)
  • Installing ribbon and film

Inserting cassettes into printer

• Using the green knobs and circular apertures in the cassette as reference points, place the cassette into the channels and slide into place.

Connecting the output hopper

• Connect the output hopper to the left hand side of the printer.

Card loading

Removing input cassette

• Open top lid and locate card cassette(s). Dual input models have two cassettes.
• Loading cards
• Card thickness adjustment
• Located on base of cassette Slide adjuster to the correct card size

Replacing input cassette

• Push cassette into slot until it locks in place

Set up complete

You are now ready to start printing!
