Machine Set Up

1. Rinse and dry all removable parts.
2. Reassemble the machine.
3. Fill the water tank with fresh potable water.
4. Properly attach the water tank to the machine.
5. Plug in the power cord and turn the machine on.
6. Press the coffee button once.

Setting the Water Hardness

1. Dip the water hardness strip briefly (1 second) in a container of potable water. Shake off excess water and compare results after 1 min.
2. Press and hold the Milk Temperature and Milk Texture buttons for 5 seconds.
3. Set the hardness according to the result of the testing strip. Use the Milk Texture button and Milk Temperature button to change  the level.< /span>
4. Press the Steam Button to save and exit.

First Use / Rinse Cycle

WARNING : Make sure there is no capsule in the machine during the rinsing process.

1. Place a 1 L container on top of the drip tray.
2. Press the coffee button three times within 2 seconds.
3. This process will take up to 7 minutes but can be stopped at any time by pushing the coffee button.
4. Fill the milk jug with potable water to the MAX line.
5. Lift up the steam wand and insert it into the milk jug.
6. Press and hold the Steam Button for 3 seconds.

FAQs

• Q: How often should I describe the machine?
  A: It is recommended to descale the machine every 3 months or after 300 capsules, whichever comes first.

• Q: Can I use non-Nespresso capsules with this machine?
  A: No, this machine is designed to be used with Nespresso capsules only.

MACHINE SET UP

1. Rinse and dry all removable parts.
2. Reassemble the machine.
3. Fill the water tank with fresh potable water
4. Properly attach water tank to the machine.
5. Plug in the power cord and turn the machine on.
6. Press the coffee button once.

FIRST USE/RINSE CYCLE

8. Once the cycle is complete, remove the milk jug.
9. Wipe the steam wand with a clean damp cloth.
10. Empty and rinse the milk jug, drip tray and container.
11. WARNING: HOT. Do not touch steam wand.

COFFEE PREPARATION

1. Fill the water tank with fresh potable water.

2. Place back onto the machine.

3. Press the Coffee Button to turn the machine ON

4. Unlock the coffee system.

5. Open the coffee system.

6. Insert a coffee capsule

7. Close and lock the coffee system

8. Adjust the height position of the cup support
   Remove the cup support and drip tray when using a carafe

9. Place a large enough cup under the coffee spout

10. Press the coffee button. To stop the coffee flow early, press the coffee button again
    CAUTION : Risk of scalding may occur due to hot coffee overflowing

11. Once coffee preparation is complete

12. Unlock the coffee system.

13. Open the coffee system, the capsule will be ejected

14. Close the coffee system.

MILK COFFEE PREPARATION

1. Fill the water tank with fresh potable water.

2. Place back onto the machine

3. Pour the milk of choice into the milk jug. Refer to the recipe suggestions for the ideal amount. Do not exceed the MAX line.

4. Lift up steam wand and insert in the milk jug. Position the milk jug, into the drip tray recess.
   NOTE : For an ideal milk froth, we recommend the use of semi-skimmed pasteurized milk at fridge temperature.
   NOTE : You can use soy, almond or oat drink for your drink preparations. Adjust your milk settings to suit your preference.
   WARNING : The cleaning methods provided in the instructions does not guarantee the complete removal of allergens. In the case of confirmed or suspected allergies, do not use milk and plant based drinks  in the same machine/device

5. Select Milk Temperature level and Milk Texture level.

6. Press the Steam Button to start frothing.

7. Unlock and open the coffee system.

8. Insert a coffee capsule.

9. Close and lock the coffee system.

10. Adjust the height position of the cup support

11. Place a large enough cup under the coffee spout
    CAUTION : Risk of scalding may occur due to hot coffee overflowing

12. Press the Coffee button twice (2x) for milk extraction. To stop the coffee extraction early, press the Coffee button.

13. Once the coffee extraction and milk texturing are complete, remove the cup and milk jug from the machine.

14. The machine will purge the steam wand once it returns to its downward position.

15. Wipe the steam wand with  a clean, damp cloth.

16. Pour the milk into the coffee.

17. Unlock the coffee system.

18. Open the coffee system, the capsule will be ejected.

19. Close the coffee system.
    NOTE : When making a latte macchiato, pour the textured milk into the glass, then position under coffee spout and press the Coffee button (2x) to start the extraction

RESET TO FACTORY SETTINGS

THIS WILL RESET ALL PRE-PROGRAMMED VOLUMES, WATER HARDNESS SETTING, MILK TEMPERATURE AND MILK TEXTURE SETTINGS

1. Turn the machine ON. Press and hold the Milk Temperature button for 10 seconds.
2. All lights will flash 5 times to indicate that the machine has been reset.

TURN THE BLUETOOTH® / WI-FI® ON-OFF

By default, the Bluetooth® / Wi-Fi® is switched on. Factory reset will also switch the Bluetooth®/ Wi-Fi® on.

ENERGY SAVING CONCEPT

The machine can be turned “off” at any time (when not operating) by removing the plug from the power outlet.
Automatic “off” Mode: the machine will turn off automatically after 2 minutes of non-use.
NOTE : In special cases, the machine can take up to 5 minutes to automatically turn off.
