Reason
Correct setting of aircraft address

Subject
The European monitoring reported that some air-craft equipped with KTX2-S were reporting incorrect ICAO 24-bit address – ‘aircraft address’. EASA has investigated the causes that could led to this anomaly and one cause could be the possible mis-understanding of the operator setting the aircraft address while following the instructions of manual KTX2.A-MAN.0203

Compliance
In this context, the instructions in the user manual have been revised and the setting of the aircraft address has been changed or improved accord-ingly. The current user manual is available as ver-sion KTX2.A-MAN.0204 (see § References). It is safety relevant that these instructions are followed.
