DESCRIPTION

The Mini K67x is a large-diaphragm condenser microphone that features harmonic saturation, wideband operation, and extended frequency response. Customers have stated that this microphone is superior to more expensive options when used to record vocals, guitar cabinets, and drum overheads. A custom-designed large-diaphragm capsule provides the mic with its distinctive sound quality. The lows are well-delineated and free of any wooliness or flabbiness. The middles are spot on. Sibilance frequencies have a very minor reduction (less than one decibel). There is neither brashness nor hype at the upper end; rather, it is neutral, and the roll off is airy and smooth. This frequency response is complementary to a large number of different sources. The circuit is the second component that contributes to the sound that is distinctive to the microphone. It is responsible for providing both of the key components of what is commonly referred to as the “tube mic sound.”

The first is referred to as second-order harmonics. The other technique is known as transitory compression. Even though the K67x is not a tube microphone, some who are accustomed to the sound of tubes may be surprised by it. It is in the same tonal realm as microphones that cost four times as much thanks to the mic’s balanced tone and its ability to gently overload the audio with even-order harmonics. Northern California is the location where each and every Roswell microphone is conceived of, constructed, tested, and tuned. Our unrelenting dedication to ensuring quality results in outstanding performance. The Mini K67x comes with an improved flight case as well as our industry- famous Cutaway(TM) shock mount.
