Product Usage Instructions

Getting Started:

Scan the code to download the Bushnell Golf Mobile app and register your ProX3+ Laser Rangefinder.

Slope Switch:

To enable/disable Slope mode:

  1. Use your right thumb to pull down the side latch.
  2. With your other hand, pull back the switch on both sides to enable Slope On or slide forward to turn Slope off.

Basic Operation/Controls:

  1. Remove protective disc from the battery compartment.
  2. Press Fire/Power button to activate the display and fire the laser.
  3. Adjust the eyepiece focus by rotating the Diopter Dial.
  4. Press and hold Mode button to enter Settings and modify various options.
  5. In Slope Mode, toggle between Play As and Element Compensation Modes by pressing the Mode button.
  6. Switch between red and black displays using the Dual Display button.

Display Guide:

The display includes information such as Aiming Circle, Headwind/Tailwind Speed, Crosswind Speed, Line of Sight Distance, Slope (% grade), Bluetooth Connection status, Battery Level, and more.

Using Wind Feature:

  1. Enter Settings by pressing and holding the mode button.
  2. Turn on Wind feature in the settings menu.
  3. Ensure the device is paired with the Bushnell Golf mobile app and Slope is enabled.

BITE Magnet:

The powerful BITE magnet on the ProX3+ allows secure attachment to a golf cart bar or frame. Calibrate the digital compass when needed for accurate readings.

Q: How do I calibrate the digital compass on the ProX3+?

Basic Operation/Controls

  1. Remove protective disc from battery compartment.
  2. Press Fire/Power button to activate display and fire laser.
  3. Rotate the Diopter Dial, to adjust the eyepiece focus.
  4. Press and hold Mode button to enter Settings. Press the Mode button to select and modify: display brightness (red display only), Yards/Meters, Wind on/off, Bluetooth on/off, and Home Elevation.
  5. Press Fire/Power Button, while in Settings to advance to the next screen.
  6. While in Slope Mode, press and release the Mode button to toggle between Play As and Element Compensation Modes.
  7. Press Dual Display button to switch between red and black displays.
  8. Slope Switch enables/disables slope mode.

Using Wind Feature

  1. Press and hold the mode button to enter settings, advance to the Wind on/off menu and turn Wind on.
  2. Ensure the PRO X3+ is paired and connected to the Bushnell Golf mobile app and the app is open and running on your phone.
  3. Ensure Slope is enabled on your PRO X3+.
  4. When connected to and receiving data from the mobile app, The headwind/tailwind and crosswind speeds will be displayed in MPH (or KPH) in the upper Left of your display.
  5. To change between MPH and KPH, go to your PRO X3+ setting in the mobile app.
  6. If the internal compass is not calibrated, the directional arrows will flash and the PRO X3+ will vibrate indicating the compass is not calibrated.
  7. To calibrate the compass, the laser needs to be rotated in various directions.
  8. Once the compass is calibrated, the wind values and directions will display.
  9. When the laser has a successful range, the wind values will “lock” in the direction the laser was pointed during ranging until the next attempted range.

Note: The PRO X3+ includes a BITE magnet and a digital compass. Digital compasses need to be calibrated when there is a significant change in the surrounding magnetic field. Use of the BITE magnet with the wind function may necessitate more frequent calibrations.
