For your safety:

  • It should only be used as described in your instruction manual.
  • Keep this instrument and the battery out of the reach of children.
  • Batteries can be fatal if swallowed. If a battery has been swallowed, get medical assistance immediately.
  • Batteries must not be thrown in fire, short-circuited, taken apart or recharged. Danger of explosion!
  • Batteries contain harmful acids. Low batteries should be changed as soon as possible to prevent damage caused by a leaking.
  • Remove the battery if you do not use the instrument for a longer period of time.
  • Do not place your product near extreme temperatures, vibrations or shocks. Protect it from moisture.
  • Never burn the probe directly over fire.
  • Only the probe is heat resistant until 150 °C.
  • Unauthorized repairs, modifications or changes to the product are prohibited.
  • Clean your instrument with a soft damp cloth. Do not use solvents or scouring agents.
  • Do not immerse the display element into water. Water can penetrate into the precision sensor and cause malfunction. Not suitable for dishwasher.
  • Do not use the instrument in the microwave.
  • Be careful when handling the probe. When the device is not used, put the protective cap over the probe.

Getting started / Operation

  • Press the ON/OFF button, to turn on the device.
  • The display shows the currently measured temperature.
  • The sensor is located in the point of the probe.
  • To measure the temperature, insert the probe at least 2,5 cm deep in the object.
  • Press the MAX/MIN button again and the minimum temperature is shown since the last reset (on the display appears MIN).
  • Press the MAX/MIN button again and the maximum temperature is shown since the last reset (on the display appears MAX).
  • It is reset by pressing the ON/OFF button
  • Change the battery when the functions of the device become weak.
  • Open the battery compartment and insert a new battery LR44 polarity as illustrated (+pole above).
