SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Please read the operating instructions carefully before use.
When connecting multiple devices to one outlet, make sure that the total power consumption is not exceeded. This box is intended for temporary, electrical connections only. Extreme weather may affect the life of the product.
Before connecting electrical equipment, make sure the main power switch is turned off.
This enclosure is rated IP54 when used as intended.
The lid must be securely closed and locked, and the seals in the lids and cable outlets must be undamaged.
The cable outlets must not be directed upwards.
The cables used must have a diameter of 6.9 mm (min.) and 10.5 mm (max.).
In case of doubt, consult a specialist.
SUPPLY
1-piece box, Velcro tape, operating instructions.

USE AND FUNCTION

The waterproof box consists of a robust housing with multiple cable inputs and outputs.
It can be mounted on the wall and is suitable for safe power supply of electrical products, such as gardenlight or christmas lights.
The housing is dustproof and splashproof, IP54.
When the lid is closed, a high level of protection against moisture and dust is ensured. Furthermore, the insulation of the cable guide provides the highest possible protection against moisture and dust.
The closure can be additionally locked with a padlock if required (not included). 283 mm 200 mm 9 170 mm

  7. Drain holes pre-punched

IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION

  1. The weather protection box provides the highest possible protection for temporary outdoor use. Although the box can be used for extended outdoor use, it is not designed for permanent installation.

  2. The installation site should be chosen to ensure safe access to the mains circuit.

  3.  It is not recommended to drill additional holes in the housing.
This will reduce the IP protection.

  4. For safe operation, the box must not be installed outdoors with the flap open.

OPTIONAL MOUNTING ON THE WALL

There are two pre-punched drain holes on the bottom and on the cross side of the housing.
If the box is to be mounted on a wall, these holes can be drilled through. However, additional holes will reduce the water tightness.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Use a template to pre-drill the mounting holes on the wall.

  2. Five Cable inlets and outlets with insulation.

  3. Pre-punched holes for additional cable inputs and outputs.
Insulation (M20/25) not included in delivery.

  4. Locking of the housing flap and unlocked (B) and locked (A) position.

  5. Lateral locking with hole for padlock.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR MOUNTING ON THE WALL

  1. Select a clean, flat surface to which the box can be attached with screws. From the bottom edge to the floor should be at least a distance of 500-600 mm.
It should be a smooth surface, otherwise the box could warp and water tightness would no longer be guaranteed.

  2. Use screws with a minimum length of 38 mm to fix the box. Use the four pre-punched holes in the corners or the two holes in the upper half. The box must be mounted with the cable outlets facing down.

  3. The Velcro tape provided can be used to attach a multiple socket, for example, to the inside of the housing.

  4. There are five cable inputs and outputs on the transverse side.
These are sealed with an insulating bracket.
Remove the bracket to route the cables. Only lay one cable per hole.
Then press the bracket firmly back onto the routed cables and close the box.

  5. Close the housing lid and lock the safety catch on the side.
The lid can also be locked with a padlock.

  6. Only a mild cleaning agent should be used for cleaning. Cleaning of the outer surface should only be performed when the housing is closed.
