Product Usage Instructions
To install the AH12E15D5B electric heater, follow these steps:
- Measure the wall case dimensions A and C, which should be 70 inches and 30 inches respectively.
- Ensure the wall opening dimensions are appropriate by adding 1/4 inch to A and C dimensions for all cut-outs. The minimum required dimensions are 16-1/4 inches in height and 42-1/4 inches in width.
- Connect the unit to a 230/208 Volt power source using the line cord.
- Take note of the heater specifications:
- Heater Watts: 5,000 / 4,100
- Heater BTU: 15,000 / 12,000
- Heater Amps: 22.3 / 20.1
- Minimum Circuit: 30 Amps
- Recommended Protective Device: 30 Amp Time-Delay Fuse or Breaker
- Ensure the electrical circuit can support the required amps and install a 30 Amp time-delay fuse or breaker as the recommended protective device.
