Bluetooth Mode

‘When switched on, the SE50 enters Bluetooth mode automatically. You can also use the SOURCE button to select Bluetooth mode.

5.1 Pairing
5.1.1 Pairing with a Mobile Phone 

  1. To enter pairing mode, press and hold until the Bluctooth Icon flashes on the LCD screen.
  2. Scan for available Bluctooth devices on your mobile phone (see your mobile phone user manual for instructions i needed).
  3. .Select “SES0” from the available devices.
  4. 0nce successfully paired, the SES0 speaker will beep and the Bluetooth icon will flash slowly.

Note: The SES0 will automatically reconnect to the last paired Bluetooth device if it is in range, if this device is not available it will enter pairing mode automatically.

5.1.2 Connect to a Windows PC

  1. To enter pairing mode, press and hold until the Bluetooth Icon flashes on the LCD screen to enter pairing mode.
  2. Enable Bluetooth on your PC.
  3. Select “Devices and Printers” from the Control Panel and click “Add aDevice”.
  4. Select “SE50” from the available devices to install drivers.
  5. If the SE50 is not automatically set as your output device, select “Sound” from the control panel then highlight the SES0 and select“Set Default”.

Note: For Windows XP and Vista, a third-party Bluetooth driver is needed (not included).
Note: The SE50 will automatically reconnect to the last paired Bluetooth device if it is in range, if this device is not available it will enter pairing mode automatically.

5.1.3NFC Pairing

  1. Enable NFC and Bluctooth mode on your source device.
  2.  Touch the NFC arca of your source device against the NFC area on the SESO0.
  3. Confirm the pairing on your source device if prompted.

5.2 Music Control
The SES0 is able to control the music playing on cither a mobile phone or a computer with a Bluetooth connection.
Use the “VOL-” or “VOL+” buttons to adjust the volume and press to pause or resume playback.

FM Radio Mode

Press SOURCE to select FM radio mode. In FM radio mode, an FM icon and the current frequency will be displayed on the screen.
Short press the “FM-” or “FM+” buttons to adjust the frequency in 0.1MHz steps. Press and hold cither button to move to the previous or next channel.
SES0 can store 10 channels. Press “PRESET” to cycle through your stored channels.
To save a channel to the stored channel list, press “MEM” then use “FM-” or “FM+” 0 select a channel number then press “MEM” again to confirm.
Press “VOL-” or “VOL+” buttons to adjust the volume.

Audio-In Mode

To use the SE50 as a wired speaker, use a 3.5mm audio cable to connect the SES0 with your source device. Press “SOURCE” to select AUX mode, an AUX icon will be displayed on the LCD screen.
Press “VOL-” or “VOL+” buttons to adjust the volume.

Clock Setup

To set the correct time on the clock, press and hold the “MEM” button until the hour begins to flash. Use “FM+” and “FM-” to adjust the hour up and down. Once the correct hour is set, press “MEM” again to adjust the minutes. Once the time is correct, press “MEM” to finish

Troubleshooting

The problems listed below do not necessarily signify a fault with the device. Please check this list before requesting a repair.

Bluetooth mode, press and hold the button to enter pairing mode.
No radio| No signal| Try repositioning the device or adjusting the antenna angle.
No sound| The volume is too low or the playback is paused| Try to increase the volume of the SE50 and your source device or resume playback on your source device.

Warranty

This product is guaranteed for twelve months from the date of the original purchase. In the unlikely event of any defect arising due to faulty materials or workmanship, the unit will be cither replaced or repaired free of charge (where possible) during this period. An alternative product will be offered in case the product is no longer available or repairable

This warranty is subject to the following conditions:

  • The warranty is only valid within the country where the product is purchased
  •  The product must be correctly installed and operated in accordance to the instructions given in this user manual.
  •  The product must be used solely for domestic purposes.
  •  The warranty only covers the main unit, and does not cover the accessories.
  • The warranty does not cover the damage caused by misuse, negligence, accident and natural disaster.
  • The warranty will be rendered invalid if the product is resold or has been damaged by inexpert repairs. The manufactures disclaim any liability for incidental or consequential damages.
  • Please consult our customer adviser before returning any product; we are not responsible for any unexpected product returns.
  • Any faulty product must be kept and returned in the original packaging with all the accessories and the original copy of the purchase receipt.
