The PureTools PT-TOOL-100 is a 4K HDMI Signal Generator andDisplay Emulator. It is a compact tool designed for signal generation and analytics. With its compact size and lightweight design, it is a must-have in every installer’s toolbox.

• Signal Generation
  The PT-TOOL-100 supports full 18Gbps signal generation for resolutions up to 4K/UltraHD 60Hz. It also includes color-coded patterns to indicate different signal formats. This allows for easy testing of source and display devices.

• Signal Analytics
  The PT-TOOL-100 can analyze incoming HDMI signals with resolutions up to 4K/UltraHD 60Hz. It supports all HDMI 2.0 audio formats and provides LED indication of TMDS and 5V signals, as well as HDCP version.

• No Wires Required
  The PT-TOOL-100 is equipped with HDMI-A connectors on both sides, allowing for easy connection to the source and display devices. It can be plugged directly into the socket of the devices, eliminating the need for additional cables.

Product Usage Instructions

1. Connect the PT-TOOL-100 to the HDMI input of the source device.
2. Connect the PT-TOOL-100 to the HDMI output of the display device.
3. If using the PT-TOOL-100 in signal generator mode, power it via the 5V micro USB socket. If using it in signal analyzer mode, power is only required if the HDMI source device does not output a clean 5V signal.
4. Make sure the source and display devices are powered on.
5. Use the DIP switches on the PT-TOOL-100 to configure the desired settings for signal generation or analysis.
6. Observe the LED indications on the PT-TOOL-100 to monitor TMDS and 5V signals, as well as the HDCP version.
7. Check the signal quality and compatibility between the source and display devices.
8. Make any necessary adjustments or troubleshooting based on the signal analysis results.
9. Once testing is complete, disconnect the PT-TOOL-100 from the source and display devices.

4K Signal Generation and Analytics in a Compact Tool

Now it‘s time for a quick system checkup, so that there are no unpleasant surprises for the customer later. But how? Common test devices have to be supplied with power, require lots of cabling and ultimately take almost as much time as the installation itself. With the PT-TOOL-100, you can avoid wasting this time. The extremely compact and lightweight tool combines the generation of test signals with the ability to analyze incoming signals, mostly without the need for a power supply. Just plug it into the inputs/outputs of the source and display devices and test them right away. A must-have in every installer‘s toolbox.

Signal Generation
Full 18Gbps signal generation for resolutions up to 4K / UltraHD 60Hz with 4:4:4 and 2-channel PCM audio including color-coded patterns to indicate different signal formats.

Signal Analytics
Analyzes incoming HDMI signals with resolutions up to 4K / UltraHD 60Hz at 4:4:4 and incl. all HDMI 2.0 audio formats. LED indication of TMDS and 5V signals as well as HDCP version.

No Wires Required
Equipped with HDMI-A connectors on both sides for two operation modes. In both modes, the PT-TOOL-100 can be plugged directly into the socket of the source/display device.

Simple Power Supply
Only needs to be powered via a 5V micro USB socket in signal generator mode. In signal analyzer mode, this is only needed if the HDMI source device does not output a clean 5V signal.

Extremely Portable
