Note:

Camera Installation

You can use the provided screws and expansion screws to mount the camera on a flat wall surface. The wall surface must have enough strength to secure the camera (the camera shown in the illustration is for instructional purpos­es only).

Bullet Camera

  1. Select the appropriate position and stick the positioning sticker on the wall. Drill holes according to the installation hole template.
  2. Install the mount base with the mounting screws included in the package.
  3. By rotating the round joint and bracket to achieve the longitudinal and axial adjustment of the camera.
  4. Tighten the fixing screws with a Phillips screwdriver. and the installation is complete.

Conch Camera

  1. Hold and press on the camera top and turn anticlockwise to separate the mounting plate from the camera.
  2. Drill holes according to the mounting hole template and screw the mounting plate to the mounting holes on the ceiling.
  3. Align the camera to the mounting plate and turn the camera clockwise to lock it tightly. Poy attention that these two points should be aligned, which means the camera has been locked correctly.
  4. Once the camera is installed, you may rotate the camera body manually to adjust the camera’s surveillance angle.

Note:

  • For installation on a wooden wall, the bracket can be mounted directly on the wall by screws.
  • For installation on masonry walls (brick, concrete or others), expansion screws need to be installed first.

Connection Diagram

Step 1:
Connect the LAN port of the NVR to the router via an ethernet cable. and connect the mouse to the USB port of the NVR.

Step 2:
Connect the NVR to the monitor with a HDMI or VGA cable.

Step 3:
Connect cameras to PoE ports on the NVR.

Step 4:
Connect the NVR to a power outlet and turn on the power switch.

Waterproof Lid Installation

When mounting your PoE camera outdoors. you are suggested to install the waterproof lid for it. You may follow the steps below for installation.

Step 1:
Thread the Ethernet cable through the top cover and then the waterproof connector. Put the rubber seal ring around the Ethernet cable between the top cover and the waterproof connector.

Step 2:
Put on the rubber 0-ring to the Ethernet port of the camera and plug the Ethernet cable into the Ethernet port.

Step 3:
Align the waterproof connector with the Ethernet port, then twist it clockwise to tighten the two parts.

Step 4:
Push the rubber seal ring into the waterproof connector, then screw the top cover and lock it into position firmly to finish installation.

Note:
The rubber seal ring provided has been cut. If not, you may manually cut it.

Local Basic Operation

Power On

  1. Please ensure that the access voltage meets the device requirements and that the device power cord is in good contact.
  2. Please ensure the monitor is connected to the video output interface of the device before power on.
  3. After the device powers on, the power indicator will be red and the power-on image will appear on the monitor screen.

Startup Wizard
After the device powers on, users can quickly configure the device through the “Wizard”, System Languages -> Administrator Password -> Security Question -> Security Email -> Network Parameters -> System Time.

Note:
After installing the hard drive for the first time, the hard drive must be formatted in the Setup->Video->Hard Drive interface(Preinstalled HOD does not need to be formatted).

Web Operation

Please access the NVR through the following web browsers: Microsoft Edge, AppleSafari, Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome.

Steps

  1. Enter the IP address of the device in the browser address bar http://IP. if you have changed the http port. please enter http://IP:HTTP Port (eg: http://192.168.1.88:89) .
  2. Enter the username and password on the login interface.

Note:
After logging in, please follow the system prompts to download and install the Web plug-in. Otherwise. some functions will not be available.

App Operation

  1. Scan the QR code below with your mobile phone to download and install the Long Plus App.
  2. Search for “Long Plus” in the App Store or Google Play, download and install it.

FAQS

Q1: No video output image on the monitor
A: If there is no video output image on the monitor, please try the following methods:

  1. Ensure the resolution of the monitor is at least 720p or above.
  2. Ensure the NVR is powered on.
  3. Check the HD/VGA cable connection carefully, replace another cable or test the monitor.

Q2: Unable to access NVR locally
A: If the NVR cannot be accessed locally by computer, please try the following methods:

  1. Ensure the NVR (LAN port) have been connected to the router with a network cable.
  2. Replace another network cable to connect to the NVR network port.
  3. Go to Settings->System->Maintenance, and restore the factory settings.

Q3: Unable to access NVR remotely
A: If the NVR cannot be accessed remotely by mobile phone or computer, please try the following methods:

  1. Ensure the NVR system can be accessed locally.
  2. Please connect the mobile phone or PC to the same network of NVR and check if you can access any website.
  3. Please restart the NVR and router, then try again.

Safety Instruction

  • Please install the device in a well-ventilated place and do not block the vents of the device.
  • Please keep the device installed horizontally, or in a stable place. and pay attention to prevent the product from falling.
  • Please store and use the device within the allowable humidity and moisture range.
  • Please use the device within the rated input and output range.
  • Do not drip or spill liquids on the device and ensure that items containing liquids are not placed on the device to prevent liquids from flowing into the device.
  • Dust on the circuit board will cause a short circuit after moisture. In order to make the NVR work properly for a long time, please regularly use a brush to dust the circuit board, connectors. case. etc.
  • When cleaning the device, please do not use volatile solvents such as: alcohol, benzene or thinner, which will damage the surface coating.
  • When cleaning the device. please unplug the power cord and completely cut off the power.
  • The installation and construction of the device must comply with the specifications, which can refer to the relevant national or local standards.
  • If the equipment smokes. smells or is noisy, cut off the power immediately and unplug the power plug cable.
