- Do not modify the equipment in any way
- Measuring instruments don’t belong to children’s hands.-
Cleaning the cabinet
Prior to cleaning the cabinet, withdraw the mains plug from the power outlet.
Clean only with a damp, soft cloth and a commercially available mild household
cleanser. Ensure that no water gets inside the equipment to prevent possible
shorts and damage to the equipment.

Operation
5.1. Setting the Output Voltage
- Connect the power supply to the power source.
- Press the POWER SWITCH [1] to turn on the power supply.
- Use the VOLTAGE COARSE [8] and VOLTAGE FINE [9] to adjust the voltage to get the desired output voltage.
- Press Output ON/OFF-KEY [3] to activate the output and the OUTPUT INDICATOR [4] will be on.
- The CV INDICATOR [6] lights in green color.
- Connect the circuit to the TERMINALS [12, 14]
- When the CC INDICATOR [5] lights in red color, adjust the CURRENT COARSE [10] and CURRENT FINE [11] to give a suitable current.
Remarks:
- If you want to preset a desired current output before connecting to the circuit, read Section 5.2 first.
Caution:
- Make sure the INPUT VOLTAGE SELECTOR [26] is set to the correct position. Otherwise, it will damage the power supply.
5.2. Setting the Output Current
- Turn the power supply on.
- Refer to Section 5.1 steps 1-6 to give the voltage around 2 – 5V
- For CH1, turn the CURRENT COARSE [10] and CURRENT FINE [11] anticlockwise to reach the minimum current value.
- Short the + and the – TERMINALS [12,14] with a conductor whose cross-section area is not less than 0.5mm².
- Ensure the output indicator is on. Otherwise, press the Output ON/OFF-KEY [3]. Then the CV INDICATOR [6] is off and the CC INDICATOR [5] will turn to orange color.
- Adjust the CURRENT COARSE [10] and the CURRENT FINE [11] to get the desired output current.
- Repress the Output ON/OFF-KEY [3] to cut off the output.
- Then the CV INDICATOR [6] will turn to green color.
- Remove the conductor from the TERMINALS [12,14]
- Set the desired output voltage.
- Connect the circuit to the TERMINALS [12,14]
Remarks:
The conductor is not provided
Caution:
- Ensure the current is set to zero before shorting the TERMINALS. Otherwise, it will damage the power supply.
5.3. Fixed Voltage Output
- Connect the power supply to a power source.
- When the device is turned on there is a 5V fixed voltage at the output.
- Connect the circuit with the output jacks [15, 16].
Note:
The fixed voltage output is not stabilized. If the maximum output current of
1A is exceeded, the output voltage of 5V can not be kept stable and collapses.
Fuse Replacement
Caution:
- Ensure that no power is connected to the power supply; otherwise, electrical shock may occur.
- Do not apply excessive force on the fuse socket, or it may be damaged.
-
Remove all test leads from the output sockets and disconnect the power cord from the input socket.
-
Locate the fuse socket at the rear panel power socket.
-
Replace the fuse with an identical rating.
Fuse: 115 V = 6 A/250 V 5 x 20 mm; 230 V = 3,15 A/250 V 5 x 20 mm -
Reinstate the fuse socket. (Push in the fuse socket to the power socket.)
