Fanvil V63 IP Phone
Product Information
The product is an IP phone manufactured by Fanvil Technology Co., Ltd. It is designed to provide communication capabilities using Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) technology. The phone features various icons on its screen to indicate different modesand functions. It also has keys with different features such as call forwarding, do not disturb, SIP hotspot activation, VLAN activation, VPN activation, Bluetooth pairing, and more. The phone supports features like SMS, voicemail messages, internet connectivity, call history, and voice quality level indication. It has navigation keys, soft keys, a phonebook key, a message waiting indicator, and a voice message key. The phone can be used in hands-free mode, headset mode, or handset mode.
Product Usage Instructions
Installation
To install the device:
- Follow the instructions in the provided picture for desktop installation or wall mounting (wall stand needs to be purchasedseparately).
Connecting to the Device
Connect the following components to the corresponding ports:
- USB port: Connect a USB device such as a flash drive.
- Power port: Connect the power adapter.
- Network port: Connect to the local area network or internet.
- PC port: Connect to a computer.
- Headset port: Connect a headset.
- Handset port: Connect the IP Phone handset.
Using Ethernet
- Power on the device and connect the WAN port of the phone to the RJ45 socket of a hub/switch or a router (LAN side of the router) using the Ethernet cable.
- The default mode is DHCP.
Configuration
There are two ways to configure the device:
- Configuration via LCD menu of the phone:
- Press Menu > Advanced (default password 123).
- Select Network to configure network settings (IPv4/IPv6/IPv4&IPv6, DHCP/Static/PPPoE).
- Select Accounts to enable the account and fill in the SIP server address, port, username, password, etc.
- Save the configuration.
- Configuration via web:
- Get the IP address from the phone by pressing the down navigation key or going to Menu > Status > IPv4 / IPv6.
- Login to the web interface by entering the IP address in a web browser. The PC and phone should be in the same IP address segment. The default username and password are both “admin”.
- Configure network and account settings by selecting the relevant options and filling in the necessary information.
- Save the configuration.
Language Setting
- Press the Menu key.
- Select Basic.
- Select Language.
- Select the desired language.
- Press the OK soft key.

Please follow the instructions in below picture to install the device.

Connecting to the device
Please connect power adapter, network, PC, handset, and headset to the
corresponding ports as described in below picture.
- USB port: connect USB device (USB flash drive).
- Power port: connect the power adapter.
- Network port: connecting local area network or Internet.
- PC port: the network port connect to the computer.
- Headset port: connect headset.
- Handset port: connect IP Phone handset.
Network connect
Using Ethernet
- The power on the device and connect the WAN port of the phone to the RJ45 socket of a hub/switch or a router (LAN side of the router) using the Ethernet cable. 2. The default is DHCP mode.
Configuration
Configuration via LCD menu of phone

Select Accounts: To configure enable the account, fill the SIP server address, port, user name, password etc.

Save the configuration.
Configuration via web -
Get the IP address from the phone: Press down navigation key, or Menu > Status > IPv4 / IPv6.

Login: Input the IP address in the web browser. The PC and phone should be in the same IP address segment (The defaultusername and password are both ‘admin’.)

Configure: Select network/account etc, and fill the relevant content.

Save the configuration.
Language setting
- Press Menu key > Basic > Language.
- Select the desired language and press OK soft key.
Making a call
- Pre-dialing: enter the phone number and pick up the handset.
- Direct dialing: lift the handset and enter the phone number.
- Handsfree: enter phone number and press or vice versa.
- Headset: enter phone number and press or vice versa.
- Designated line: press line key, enter phone number and press dial key.
Accepting a call
- Using the handset: pick up the handset.
- Using the headset: press .
- Using the handsfree: press .
Redial
- Press key , redial a call number.
Call Mute
- Press to Mute the microphone during the call.
- Press again to un-mute the conversation.
Putting a call on hold
- Press Hold soft key, caller is put on hold.
- To retrieve the call press Resume soft key.
Note: with more than one active call, select desired call with the navigator key and use the corresponding soft key to hold or resume.
Call transfer
Attended transfer:
- Press Xfer soft key during the active conversation, the call is put on hold.
- Dial the second telephone number.
- When the call is answered, then press Xfer soft key to complete the operation.
Blind transfer:
- Press Xfer soft key during the active conversation, the call will be on hold.
- Then enter the 2nd telephone number and press Xfer soft key.
Call forward
- Press Menu > Features > Call Forward.
- Select the line, the type of forward, enter the destination number and status, and press OK soft key.
Call conference
- Once in line with 1st caller, press Conf soft key, 1st caller is put on hold.
- Then call the 2nd number.
- After, 2nd call is established, press Conf soft key to set up the conference.
Programmable key
- You can configure shortcuts for the programmable keys.
- Press Menu > Basic > Keyboard, select among the configurable items, and select your desired type and value, press OK key.
Do not disturb
- Press DND soft key, and enable the device do not disturb mode.
- Or press Menu > Features > DND, and select the Mode Call Mute and Type, and press OK key.
Voice mail
- To access your voice mailbox, press or Menu > Messagev > Voice Message, number of messages will be indicated if provided by your server or pbx.
- Select the line and press Play to call.
Bluetooth
- Plug a Bluetooth dongle into the USB port.
- Press Menu > Basic > Bluetooth.
- Press OK soft key to enter the bluetooth open interface.
After opening, press Scan soft key to display the list of bluetooth scanned. Select any device and press connect.
WiFi
- Plug a Wi-Fi dongle into the USB port.
- Press Menu > Basic > WLAN.
- Press OK soft key to enter the WLAN open interface. After opening, press Scan soft key to display the list of Wi-Fi scanned.
- Press Enter soft key to enter the available Network, select the wireless network, press the Connect soft key and enter the password to connect.
Call list
- Press up navigator key or Menu > CallLog > Local Call Logs.
- Scroll through the list using navigator key.
- To dial an entry, press Dial soft key or pickup handset or press or .
Phonebook
Access Phonebook:
- Press or Contact soft key or Menu > PhoneBook > Local Contacts.
- Select All Contacts or other group.
- To dial an entry, press Dial soft key or pickup handset or press or .
Add new entry:
- Press Contact soft key, Press All Contacts or other group > Press Add.
- Enter name and number and press OK soft key.
