Remove fixture components and parts pack. Check to ensure all parts are included. Note: Account for small parts and destroy packing material, as these may be hazardous to children.
Turn OFF Power at fuse or circuit breaker box!
CAUTION: Do not rely on wall switch alone to turn off power.
This fixture is intended for petroleum canopy applications
For mounting to standard steel canopy decks: Drill 3 inch diameter thru- hole in the deck centered between two canopy ribs. Note: Ensure the area on top of the canopy deck is clear of obstructions and will support the weight of the luminaire.
Prepare fixture for installation: Set fixture lens facing down on a protected, flat surface. Hold cord taught and slide threaded pipe towards fixture hub. Use an adjustable wrench to screw the threaded pipe into the fixture hub. See Fig. A.
Install Luminaire to deck: Insert the threaded pipe into the thru-hole from below the deck and hold the fixture flush against the deck.
Use (4) mounting screws (E) provided to secure fixture to canopy deck with 4
.4in-lbs max. torque. DO NOT OVER TORQUE SCREWS. Note: Fixture provides 2
screw spacing options to accomodate different deck plank widths. See Fig. B.
On top of deck, remove the locknuts from the threaded pipe and screw the mounting plate (C) onto the threaded pipe until it is tight against the deck. Then thread one locknut back onto the threaded pipe. Note: Apply silicone sealant along edge of Mounting plate to prevent water entry
Install Driver Box to Luminaire: Remove driver box (B) KO appropriate for your application. Loosen screw on front of driver box and open hinged top of box. Pull fixture cord extending from threaded pipe through the center hole in the bottom of the driver box and slide driver box down the threaded pipe until it rests on the locknut. Thread second locknut onto the threaded rod protruding inside the driver box to secure. **See Fig. C.
**
Connect LED wires to driver:
Use wire nut to connect the green ground wire from the cord to the yellow/
green fixture ground wire in the driver box cover. Locate the two 2-terminal
connectors in the driver box and insert the
Red LED+ and Black LED- wires from the cord in the terminal with the corresponding wire flag marking.
CAUTION: WIRING
Make sure power is turned off.
Thread power supply wires through previously removed knockout. Note: Install
appropriate water tight fittings (not provided)
Connect the bare copper or green house supply ground wire to the yellow/ green fixture ground wire. Note: If house wiring does not include a ground wire, consult your local electrical code for approved grounding methods. Locate the two 3-terminal connectors in the driver box and connect the black/Line fixture wire to the black power supply wire and the white/Neutral fixture wire to the white/Neutral supply wire.
Use provided wire tie for wire management of incoming supply wires.
Turn on electricity at fuse or circuit breaker box and verify success of installation.
Luminaires with ALO provide an adjustable lumen switch located in the
driver box. Factory set to highest lumens “H”(13,000lm). If lower lumens are
desired choose “M” for 10,000lm or “L” for 7,500lm. See Fig D
Install trim: Align decorative trim below Luminare and push up to snap into place. **See Fig. E.
