Installation Guide
- Open the front panel, then press the latch to remove the door
- Remove side panels by removing the 2 screws on each side
- Remove the screws securing the hot-swap drive module, then extract the module from the front side
- Install motherboard standoff based on the specification of the motherboard installed
- CPU cooler height limitation: <168mm
- CPU cooler is allowed to protrude the edge of the motherboard by 6.8mm
- Install PSU
- PSU length limitation: 200mm
- We recommend installing PSUs with length of 180mm to allow room for cables and to ease cable management
- Remove the screws attaching the bottom hard drive tray, insert 3.5” HDD into the tray then secure back into the case
- Install 2.5” devices
- Remove slim ODD cover to install slim ODD device
- Install 5.25” device Installing a 5.25″ device will interfere with the top panel component, thereby preventing the installation of 240mm/280mm radiators
- We recommend to connect the power / front IO / SATA connectors on the motherboard at this stage.
- Insert hot-swap drive module back into the case and secure with screws, then connect power and SATA cables to each drive
- Install graphics card The length limitation for expansion slots 1 to 2 is <369mm. Width limitation is 174mm. The length limitation for expansion slots 3 to 5 is 220mm. Removing the 5.25″ support bracket increases the clearance to 369m
- Ensure all cables and wirings are connected, reattach the side panels then secure with screws
- Extract the hot-swap module drive trays to install 3.5” or 2.5” devices. Connect the tool-free mechanism to the devices then secure back to the module
- Press the latch to reattach the front panel
Components Limitation
Top panel: 120mm/140mm/240mm/280mm, Radiator x 1
When installing 140mm/280mm radiators on the top panel, with the total
thickness of fans and radiator equating to 55mm, the distance to the
motherboard is left with 20mm total clearance. If you wish to install the SATA
cable in this position, it’s recommended to purchase SilverStone’s CP11 ultra-
thin cable and low-profile connectors SATA cable to improve compatibility and
convenience of build assembly. See figure B.
Rear panel: 120mm, Radiator x 1
If the height of components on the motherboard near the corresponding area of
the radiator is less than 50mm, there is no limitation on the thickness of the
radiator.
RECOMMENDED COOLING CONFIGURATION
If your motherboard has a fan speed monitoring function, it is recommended to connect the 90mm PWM fan attached to the hard drive tray module to the fan header on the motherboard. This will allow you to adjust the fan speed according to your desired settings.
