- 01 +02 pre-assemble loosely
- search for a suitable position, taking into account the following points
- steering wheel lock function, possibly pull slightly into the silent block
- make sure that no cables or wires are impacted with the steering fully stopped, if necessary, fix them with cable ties
- the steering stop is only effective when it´s supported at right angles to the frame
- mark position
- insert the double-sided adhesive pad and the cable pie into the loosely pre-assembled steering stop, or screw them in place
- fit the steering stop at the marked position 06
Use racing: To reduce the turning circle again when manoeuvring, leave out the double-sided adhesive pad and turn the stop sideways if necessary. Please note that no warranty can be accepted for use in racing, rally and off- road sports.
