ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL BRACKET
Preparation
We recommend reading through the installation instructions in whole before performing the work.
- Disconnect the negative battery terminal. Park the vehicle on level ground and set the emergency brake.
- When button head bolts are being used, install the supplied washer on the nut side. Then, hold the bolt stationary and only turn the nut to tighten. Do not turn the bolt to tighten hardware assembly, unless otherwise noted.
- Anti-seize is recommended for all fasteners.

TIME REQUIRED
– 1.5 hours for OEM Removal/Bumper Install
Labor Rates are based on a vehicle with no pre-existing damage. Wiring labor is based on a standard wiring procedure with light switches installed in an easily accessible location. Custom light triggering or switch mounting location will result in a greater labor charge.
TOOLS REQUIRED
(Sockets) 7/16, 9/16, 8mm, 10mm, 13mm, 21mm (Box end wrenches) 7/16, 9/16,
8mm, 10mm, 13mm, 21mm
(Allen wrenches) 5/32, 7/32
(Drill Bits) 1/4, 3/8
Fastener remover or flathead screwdriver

STEP 1
Remove the 6x bolts to release the OEM skid plate using a (13mm socket).
STEP 2
Remove the skid plate spacer.
STEP 3
Remove the support brackets holding the bumper to the frame horns using a (8mm
socket). (Repeat on other side) STEP 4
Unplug the main wiring harness plug in located on the passenger side by
pulling the gray tab back as shown below. STEP 5
Remove the mounting bolts located on the frame horn using a (21mm Socket).
(Repeat on other side)
STEP 6
Using a (10mm socket), remove the covers to expose the wire
harness. STEP 7
Remove the pin from the adaptive cruise control bracket and slide the module
down to remove. STEP 8
Remove all four parking sensors and bezels from the stock bumper and remove
wire harness. STEP 9
Find the section of the wire harness that goes to the adaptive cruise control
bracket. Remove the wire loom from this point all the way back to the main
connector so you can separate the adaptive cruise wires from the rest of the
harness. Once you have all the wires separated re-loom the exposed
wire. STEP 10
Using a (fastener remover/flathead) remove the pushpins holding the cover on
top of the grill. Next use a (10mm) to remove the bolts holding the
grill. STEP

Unplug all four plug-ins on top of the grill.
STEP 12
Remove the valence located on the bottom of the grill. Pull the outside trim
outwards and pull the valance off on each side. STEP 13
Remove the bolts holding the grill from the bottom using a (8mm). You can now
remove the gril STEP 14
Using a (flathead) remove all the shutters on the driver side of the grill.
STEP

Place the mounting bracket on the bottom left corner. Mark and drill using a
(1/4” and 3/8” drill bit).
STEP 16
If you have a light hoop mount your ACC on top of the bracket. If not use the
bottom. STEP 17
Mount your ACC module to the bracket with your provided 1/4-20 X 3/4” button
head bolts, nylon lock nuts, and washers using a (5/32 allen) and (7/16
wrench). And install the 1/4-20 carriage bolt, nylon lock nut and washer using
a (7/16 wrench). (Ensure plug in is facing the driver side, not
passenger) STEP

Install the mounting bracket with the provided 1/4-20 X 1” button head bolts,
nylon lock nuts, and washers using a (5/32 allen) and (7/16 wrench). And the
provided 3/8-16 X 3/4” button head bolt, nylon lock nut, and washer using a
(7/32 allen wrench) and (9/16 wrench). STEP 19
Using your (3/8 drill bit), drill a hole for your support bracket. Install
your support bracket with the provided 1/4-20 X 3/4” button head bolt, nylon
lock nut, and washer using a (5/32 allen) and (7/16 wrench). And the provided
3/8-16 X 3/4” button head bolt, washer, nylon lock nut with a (7/32 allen
wrench) and (9/16 wrench).
STEP 20
Stand back and enjoy your new Adaptive Cruise Control Bracket.
Check and re-tighten, if needed, all mounting bolts after 100 miles and
periodically thereafter.
