READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS THOROUGHLY FROM START TO FINISH BEFORE BEGINNING INSTALLATION!
Installation Instructions:
1. Removing the passenger inner fender. Take the (3) 10mm bolts and 1 clip out of the mud flap, and remove the mud flap.
2. Remove the front plastic inner panel by removing the (4) 10mm bolts, (1) 12mm, bolt and 1 plastic clip. Slide the panel towards the center of the truck and back as to not damage the clips that attach to the bumper.
3. Remove the (3) 10mm bolts in the front of the inner fender. Remove all the factory push clips on the side. Using a panel tool and a pick, carefully pry up and bring the 2 side pins together to release. Try not to damage these clips because they will be used to reinstall the factory inner fender. Now remove the inner fender.
4. Release the 2 clamps holding the plastic intake tubes and pull the tubes towards the rear of the truck to remove. The 2 mounting spots on the tubes are a C shape so they will slide out without having to remove the bolts.
5. Insert the 2 aluminum adapters in the factory rubber intake hoses and secure with the factory clamps. Remove the top plastic clip holing the front inner rubber flap.
6. Run the 2 lines from the engine compartment down and through the inner fender opening. The longer line attaches to the farthest pump from the frame, and the short line with the 90° fitting to the closest. Run the lines behind the power steering reservoir hose so the power steering pulley does not interfere with the lines.
7. Connect the 2 lines and re-attach the rubber flap.
8. In the engine compartment, run the 2 lines behind the windshield washer bottle.
9. Use the provided edge clip zip tie and attach to the fender inner sheet metal between the washer bottle and air box. Install the provided 2 piece clamp, hose clamps, and 2 filters. Fasten the upper line to the edge clip with the zip tie and trim the excess.
10. Trim the factory plastic inner fender with an xacto knife or razor blade approx. 2 ¾” below the top edge.
11. Make sure the lines are free from harm, abrasion, kinking, and
pulleys. Check that all clamps and lines are tight.
12. Reinstall the factory inner fender, mud flap, and front plastic
panel.
13. Your installation is now complete. Periodically check the filters and
clean when necessary.
Double check all hardware is installed correctly and tight
Re-torque ALL bolts after 100 miles
