Thank you for purchasing the Nova 250 dive light from SCUBAPRO. This rugged light features a high intensity LED and is designed for underwater use. It is powered by one CR 123 battery or one RCR 123A rechargeable battery, providing a burn time of approximately one hour (depending on battery type and quality).

Product Usage Instructions

Assembly:

  • Ensure that the casing is not over tightened as this could result in premature wear and/or damage to the O-rings. NEVER USE A TOOL OF ANY KIND TO TIGHTEN THE CASE.

Turning On/Off and Mode Selection:

  • To turn ON the Nova 250, full press the button at the rear of the light.
  • To switch between 100%, 25%, and STROBE mode, half press the button.
  • To turn OFF the Nova 250, full press the button again.

Safety Precautions:

  • Do not look directly into the light or direct the light into the eyes of others.
  • Do not alter or modify the dive light, as this may void the warranty.
  • The light is equipped with an overpressure valve to prevent water entry in case of battery gas production.

Proper Storage and Maintenance:

  • If the dive light is not going to be used for a long period of time, remove the batteries to avoid accidental leakage.
  • Frequent use of the dive light may cause O-rings to dry out. To prevent leakage, clean the O-ring groove with a cotton swab and regularly apply lubricant to the O-rings to prevent dry cracking.
  • Rinse the Nova 250 with fresh water before storing.

Disposal and Environmental Protection:

  • Dispose of this product only at a specific collection point for electrical refuse.
  • Batteries should not be disposed of in household waste. Please dispose of batteries and/or the dive light in appropriate collection facilities.

Please note that the warranty does not cover loss, defects, damage or deterioration due to normal use or wear and tear, exposure to excessive heat, prolonged sunlight or corrosive chemicals, poor maintenance, improper use, alteration, negligence or accident, or damage due to repair by someone other than SCUBAPRO or an Authorized SCUBAPRO Dealer. The warranty is governed by European legislation in force in each EU member state for European Union markets.

Make sure to not over tighten the casing as this could result in premature wear and/or damage to the O-rings.

NEVER USE A TOOL OF ANY KIND TO TIGHTEN THE CASE*

To turn ON the SCUBAPRO Nova 250 full press the button at the rear of the light and the light turns on. To switch between 100%, 25% and STROBE mode just half press the button.
To turn OFF the Nova 250 full press the button again and the light turns off.

WARNING

  • Do not look directly into the light, or direct the light into the eyes of others. Do not alter or modify the dive light. If modification causes water entry or other malfunctions, the warranty will be void.
  • The light is fitted with an overpressure valve for your safety. In case the battery produces gas leading to a high internal pressure of the light, the valve will open.
  • This could cause water to enter the light.
  • Proper storage: if the dive light is not to be used for a long period of time, remove batteries to avoid accidental leakage.
  • Proper maintenance: frequent use of the dive light may cause O-rings to dry out. To avoid leakage, clean O-ring groove with a cotton swab and regularly apply lubricant to O-rings to help prevent dry cracking. Please rinse the Nova 250 with fresh water before storing.
