  • Clean the appliance prior to first use (see CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE).
  • An odor may appear during first use. Residues of materials used in production are burned.

USE

Healthier grilling
This grill will allow you to prepare much healthier meals than ever before. The grill surface has a  non ‑stick surface, so very little oil or even none is sufficient. The grease flowing out of the food during grilling drains into the attached container through the appropriate holes.

Grill use
Prepare the food to be grilled appropriately (clean, marinate, season and lightly oil if necessary). Dry off wet food.

Warning:

  • First, place the food on the grill and then plug in the power cord. Otherwise, the grill may become too hot.
  • This product is equipped with overheating protection. If the temperature is exceeded, it switches off automatically. The thermostat light goes out. In this case, unplug the appliance and let the appliance cool down completely. Only then can you continue with grilling.

Grilling procedure

  1. Place the food in the middle of the grilling plate. Do not use any metal or sharp objects. They could damage the non ‑stick surface of the grill.

  2. Place the food in the middle of the grilling plate. The heating output is the highest here.

  3. Insert the plug with the thermostat into the appliance and then plug it in the power supply outlet.

  4. Turn the thermostat knob from position “0”; the light comes on and the grill surface heats up.
Warning: The appliance becomes very hot during operation! Touch only the handles.

  5. You can interrupt grilling at any time by turning the thermostat to the “0” position or by disconnecting the power supply.

  6. Always unplug the appliance after grilling.

WE RECOMMEND to remove the cable with the thermostat after grilling, since after a longer period of temperature changes the fuse could blow and the device could not work.

TIPS AND RECIPES

Meat
Choose meat of the same thickness and high quality. The meat should be at room temperature before grilling, otherwise it will become hard. To add flavor, you can marinate the meat in a little oil with herbs or wine.

The following meats are best for grilling:
Beef: sirloin, roast, leg, ribs.
Veal: roast, cutlets.
Pork: steaks, back cutlets.
Mutton/lamb: lamb slices, back cutlets, cutlets.
Sausages.

Kebab
Chop the meat or fish into 2‑3 cm cubes. Marinate the meat in white wine and oil with herbs; fish in oil with lemon juice.
Note: Alcohol is flammable.

Fish
Top ‑cut mackerel and sea bream.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Unplug the appliance and let the grill cool down for at least half an hour before cleaning.

  • Disconnect the thermostat from the body of the appliance.
  • Empty the grease container and clean it.
  • Clean the cover with a cloth soaked in water and detergent.
  • Clean the grilling plates. First, remove baked in larger pieces of food, such as cheese.
  • Use only soft objects, such as plastic and wooden tools. Never use oven cleaning sprays, sharp objects or abrasives (sponges, scouring pads). Then wash the grilling surface with hot water with detergent. Do not use petrol or other chemicals.
