INTRODUCTION
The Inverter Generator Parallel Cable Kit allows you to combine the power
output of two generators to run devices that exceed the capacity of one
generator alone. Consult the manual for Pro.Point 2,300/4,500W Inverter
Generators
(8953150, 8953168, 8953176) for safety and operation instructions for the
generator before using this parallel cable kit.
SAFETY
WARNING! Read and understand all instructions before using this tool. The
operator must follow basic precautions to reduce the risk of personal injury
and/or damage to the equipment.
Keep this manual for safety warnings, precautions, operating or inspection and

ASSEMBLY & INSTALLATION
Dashed numbers in parenthesis (Fig. 1-1) refer to a specific point in an illustration or image.
- The control box has two sets of parallel cables. Connect one set to the control panel parallel ports on the first generator (Fig. 1-1). Make sure the cables match the correct polarity.
- Connect the second set of parallel cables to the same parallel ports on the other invertor generator.
- Attach a ground wire (Fig. 1-3) to the ground bolt (Fig. 1-2) on the first generator. Attach a separate ground wire to the other generator in the same way. Consult the generator manual for grounding instructions.
OPERATION
NOTICE: Avoid overloading the generators (30/50A). An overload that only
slightly exceeds the 30/50A rating may fail to trip the overload circuit. This
can shorten the life of the generator and parallel cable box.
IMPORTANT: Only use one parallel box outlet at a time. Using both can
cause an overload.
Consult the generator manual for instructions on preparing and starting the
generators when connected to the parallel cable box.
-
Make sure the green power lights (Fig. 2-1) on both generators are green before connecting any devices. Restart both generators if one, or both, power lights are not lit.
-
High electrical loads may overload the generators. Make sure the Eco button is OFF to allow maximum power.
-
The AC output will switch off if power output exceeds 30A on the TT-30 side and 50A on the 14-50R side.
-
Plug a power plug into the NEMA 14-50R or the NEMA TT-30R power outlet,
but not both.- The NEMA 14-50R Receptacle is rated for 120/240V, max. 50 amps. Powers electrical items having a 4-prong NEMA 14-50R plug.
- The NEMA TT-30R RV Receptacle is rated for 120V, max. 30 Amps. Connect an RV power cable with a 3-prong TT-30P RV plug.
-
You will not be able to use the outlet on the generator while the parallel box is in use.
CARE & MAINTENANCE
- Maintain the tool with care. A tool in good condition is efficient, easier to control and will have fewer problems.
- Inspect the tool components periodically. Repair or replace damaged or worn components. Only use identical replacement parts when servicing.
- Maintain the tool’s labels and name plates. These carry important information. If unreadable or missing, contact Princess Auto Ltd. for replacements.
WARNING: Only qualified service personnel should repair the tool. An improperly repaired tool may present a hazard to the user and/or others.
