EURAMCO RAMFAN VENTILATOR

• You have been supplied with a Euramco RamFan, this is a powerful yet portable airmover which is ideal for use in confined spaces. The double-wall, polyethylene casing is lightweight, hard-wearing, and corrosion and chemical resistant.
• This fan comes in two sizes: 8”/20cm (UB20) or 12”/30cm (UB30).
• Your fan can be supplied with standard ducting, or a quick-release canister containing 7.6m of ducting.

ACCESSORIES

• We can provide a number of accessories with the RamFan if required:
• M.E.D. Manhole entry system
•  Allows workers to enter and exit small mansize openings while maintaining continuous ventilation. Without such a device, duct fills the manhole opening, preventing rapid entry and exit.

Extended Duct System – (Turbo-Couple)

• Quickly connects two or more RamFan UB20 blowers in series to increase airflow up to 50% when blowing through long and windy duct runs. Long, windy duct runs need more power and pressure to deliver sufficient airflow. The Turbo-Couple delivers what is needed by quickly joining two or more UB20’s in series.

MGF EXAMINATION AND TESTING

• Upon return to MGF the equipment will be cleaned, inspected and function tested by a competent and trained MGF safety technician.

VISUAL INSPECTION/FUNCTIONAL TEST – PRIOR TO USE

• Before the start of each use ensure that the equipment is clean and free from debris and there are no obvious defects.
• Ensure that the item has a green tag, stating when it was last inspected.
• Each item comes with a unique ID number, please ensure this can be found.

USING THE EURAMCO RAMAN

• A) Wear both eye and ear protection.
• B) Position the fan on a level service.
• C) Note the airflow direction arrow on the external housing.
• D) Ensure switch is in the OFF position, plug in to a standard outlet with the correct voltage and amperage set.
• E) Set switch to ON.
• F) Check for proper operation before leaving the unit unattended.
• G) Do not move or carry the blower while it is running.

STORAGE AND CARE

• The RamFan should be stored in a clean, cool, dry area, in the storage box provided by MGF.

• ALWAYS – Ensure the switch is in the OFF position before connecting the blower to a power supply
• ALWAYS – Run the blower on a stable surface

• ALWAYS – Keep air intakes clear
