USING THE NOSIBOO PRO
Before the first use
- First disassemble the Colibri head and clean* and dry its parts.
- The device can be used for remov-ing the nasal mucus from a child’s nose. It cannot be used for any other purpose.
- Check the “CLEANING” section below for more details about the proper cleaning method.

- Attach the connecting tube to the device and to the Colibri head.
- Attach the power cord to the device and the power outlet. The device is ready to use.
Aspirating water with the electric device will result in loss of warranty.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE & SETTINGS

Switch on the device by turning the control button.

Select the correct suction power.
Setting recommendations:- min setting for newborns
- middle setting for babies
- max setting for small children and for pre-schoolers
- The effective and strong (max) suction power has been proven safe for nasal aspiration by ENT doctors.
- If the mucus is thin, you can use the device at a lower setting. If it is thick, you can use the device at a higher setting than normal.

Hold your child in a stable position.
- Aspirate the nose of infants after laying them into a stable position and hold their head during the process.
- You may also sit them in an infant bouncer or infant seat.
- If the child is already able to sit, sit them in your lap. In this case, do not lay the child on their back during the aspiration.

Gently insert the clean, dry nose tip into the child’s nostril.
- Move the nose tip around gently to make sure that you get all areas of the nostril.

Switch off the device after use with the control button (OFF setting). The device should be connected to or disconnected from the power network only if the control button is in OFF position (the device is switched off). If you do not use the device for a longer period of time, disconnect it from the power network. Do not disconnect the device from the power network during operation!
CLEANING
- Remove the connecting tube and the nose tip, then take apart the Colibri head.
- Wash the parts with liquid soap and lukewarm water.
- Use the brush for cleaning the nose tip.
- You can soak the parts in a disinfection liquid just make sure the liquid is safe to use for baby equipment.
- Let the parts dry completely before the next use.
- Don’t wash the connecting tube. Next to proper use, the mucus can’t enter the tube so washing the tube is not necessary.
- It is not allowed to use a dishwasher, boiling water, microwave oven, vaporizer, or baby bottle sterilizer for cleaning the spare parts because they might deform by heat!
- After use, check the condition of the air mesh. (The air mesh is placed under the connecting unit.)
- The air mesh is there to prevent solid objects and dust from entering the housing.
- The air mesh is not there to absorb any mucus or liquid.
- If the air mesh is dirty or clogged, replace it.
- The air mesh can be used for a very long time next to the proper usage of the device.
- Clean the housing with a dry, soft cloth.
- Do not use any liquids, detergents, or chemicals for cleaning the housing.
- Keep the device in a space where it is protected from dust, direct sunlight, and heat.
HINTS & TIPS
- It is forbidden to use the Colibri head and the device without the collared tube.
- The device should only be used by adults.
- Do not allow children to play with the device. It is NOT A TOY.
- While in use, the device should be in a stable position, standing on a flat surface.
- Do not cover the vents on the back of the device while in use. Hot air exits the device through the vents.
- Make sure the heat exits in a different direction than where your child is.
- Dry, very thick mucus can be dissolved by a mild saline solution. After using it, wait a few minutes, wipe excess discharge with a tissue, then reuse the nasal aspirator as directed.
- Do not use more than 5 ml of saline solution at once.
