COMPONENTS
1 x no-rebound slide hammer with M18x1.5 adapter
1 x adapter internal thread M18x1.5 x external thread M22x2.0
USE
The slide hammer is a high performance drive repair tool for automotive
applications. Perfect for extracting or driving out stuck components and
straightening dented or bent bodywork.
The range of possible applications can be increased as required by purchasing
optional additional accessories!
The body of the slide hammer is filled with metal shot.
This prevents the weight from rebounding, absorbing inertia when striking. The
impact intensity is thus increased as the full impact force is transferred to
the component being worked on.
This version is also particularly suited for removing suspension arms and
allows fast, fatigue-free work.
Applications:
Ideal as a drive unit for removing injectors/wheel hubs/ball joints etc. as well as straightening and reshaping body parts etc.
Technical data:

The “no-rebound” principle:
Safety warning:
Components (e.g. wheel hubs, etc.) must always be separated close to the
ground. The lifting equipment supporting the car must be lowered so that any
components suddenly detaching fall from the lowest possible height and cannot
hit or injure anyone!
Watch your hands and make sure they do not go beyond the end of the handle!
All connections to the slide hammer must be well secured/tightened! It is
therefore essential to take breaks from work and check that the connections
are still tight.
HOW TO USE
Example in connection with a wheel hub remover (GO010)
- Attach the wheel hub remover with thread reducer 1-1 / 2″x16G to M22x2.0 (from the scope of supply of the wheel hub remover set) (Fig. 1)
- Screw on the reducer adapter from M22x2.0 to M18x1.5 (from the scope of supply of the slide hammer) (Fig. 2)
- Screw on the sliding rod (Fig. 3)
- Tighten/counteract all connections (Fig. 4)
- Slide the impact weight onto the sliding rod (Fig. 6)
- Firmly screw the limit stop with the handle onto the end of the sliding rod. (fig. 7)
- After all components have been assembled and screwed on, the wheel hub can be pulled out. Move the weight with the slide hammer quickly against the end of the handle, repeat the process until the component is completely removed.
