- Do not allow children to play with the unit.
- Only allow children to carry out cleaning and user maintenance under supervision.
The combination of water and electricity can lead to danger to life and limb,
if the unit is incorrectly connected or misused.
Attention! Danger of electric shock. Ensure that the cable connection
points and their surroundings are dry.
The transformer and the plug connectors of the power cables supplied are not
water-tight, but only rain and splash-proof. Do not route or fit in the water.
Protect the plug connection from moisture. The safety transformer must have a
minimum distance to the pond edge of 2 m. Protect the connection cable when
burying to avoid damage. Only use cables approved for outside use. Ensure that
the power connection cable cross section is not smaller than that of the
rubber sheath with the identification H05RN-F. Extension cables must meet DIN
VDE 0620. Only use unwound cables. Electrical installations in garden ponds
and swimming ponds must meet the national and international regulations valid
for installers. Compare the electrical data of the supply with those on the
unit type plate. This data must coincide.
Never operate the unit if the cable or housing are defective! Disconnect the
power! Do not carry or pull the unit by the connection cable.
Only use the unit with the attendant safety transformer contained in our scope
of delivery. Never open the unit housing or its attendant components, unless
this is explicitly mentioned in the operating instructions. Always disconnect
the power supply of all units located in water and of this unit prior to
