Safety information

Electrical connection

Only connect the unit if the electrical data of the unit and the power supply match.
Only plug the unit into a correctly installed outlet. Ensure that the unit is fused for a rated fault current of max. 30 mA by means of a fault current protection device.
Protect open plugs and sockets from moisture.

Safe operation

Disconnect any connected units that could pose a danger from the InScenio FM-Master after use to prevent them from being switched on accidentally. For example:
- Units that can heat up.
- Units with exposed moving parts that could cause injuries, such as electric knives or saws.
Do not use the unit, if electrical lines or the housing are damaged.
Never immerse the unit in water or other liquids.
Only use the unit with the protective hood fitted. This also protects the unit from the effects of the weather.
Do not carry or pull the unit by its power cable.
Route lines in such a way that they are protected from damage and do not present a tripping hazard.
Do not use multi-outlet strips.
Should problems occur, please contact the authorised customer service or OASE.

Intended use
Only use the product described in this manual as follows:

Operation only as a power supply distributor for suitable OASE products.
Operation only at ambient temperatures of -20 °C … +45 °C.
While adhering to the technical specifications. The following restrictions apply to the unit:
Do not use for commercial or industrial purposes.

Installation

WARNING
The unit is subject to dangerous voltage and must not be installed directly adjacent to the water. Otherwise there is a risk of severe injuries or death by electrocution.

Install the unit at a distance of at least 2 m from the water to ensure that it is protected against flooding.

Connection

Connecting an OASE Control-compatible unit

NOTE: The unit will be damaged, if water enters the plug connector.

Screw the plug connectors to each other (socket/connector) so that they are water-tight. Cover open plug connectors with a protection cap and rubber seal.
Ensure that the rubber seal is clean and fits exactly. Replace the rubber seal if it is damaged. Correct fastening of the plug connectors is important for a secure connection and an interference-free network.
OASE Control-connection cable is available as an accessory in the lengths 2.5 m (47038), 5 m (47039) and 10 m (47040).
Ensure that the terminal resistor instead of a connection cable is installed on OC-OUT of the last unit in the OASE Control network to ensure that the network is closed off properly.

Connect the units to the power supply distributor

NOTE

Ensure that the total outlet output of 12 A (2700 W) is not exceeded. Otherwise the unit will be damaged.
Never connect a transformer to the outlet with the dimmer function. Otherwise the unit will be damaged.

Socket 1, switching function (max. 12 A / 2000 W)
Socket 2, switching function (max. 12 A / 2000 W)
Socket 3, switching function (max. 12 A / 2000 W)
Socket 4, switching and dimming function (40 W … 320 W)

Connecting the power supply
Unit version with power plug:

Push the coupling of the power cable onto the unit plug. Unit version with power cable (version only for the United Kingdom):
Only allow qualified electricians to perform work on the power supply.
Adhere to the pin assignment specified on the power cable label. Note the warning on the power cable.
Only use wires with wire end ferrules.

Commissioning/start-up
Proceed as follows for start-up:

Install the “OASE Control” app on your smartphone/tablet. (→ Installing the “OASE Control” app)
Connect the InScenio FM-Master to the power supply.
Activate the WLAN connection in the settings of your smartphone/tablet, start the app and follow the instructions.

How to proceed: iOS Android

Open the app “App Store” or “Google Play” on your smartphone/tablet.
Search for the app ʺOASE Controlʺ.
Install the app.
- Follow the instructions during installation.
- The app symbol appears on the display after successful installation.
