Calling indoor monitor
In a standby mode, input room number on door station, for example, when inputting “llll” on door station, the LCD display will show as below, then press “ ” to enter the call state.

Phonebook
In a standby mode, press ‘ · or “· button on the keypad to open phonebook page. Select and press”#” or “ ” on the keypad to call.

Unlock the door

Unlocking by PIN Code
In a standby mode, press “#” key and enter the Password(default is 0000). Then press “#” key to confirm. If the password is correct, the door will be unlocked; if not, it will make a sound like “clatter clatter”.

Unlocking by IC/ID card
Put the registered IC/ID card on card reader area of the door station. If successful, the door will be unlocked.

Calling concierge
In a standby mode, press “l!I” to call concierge directly. During ringing, press “-x” key to cancel the call.

Face Recognition

When someone looks at the LCD screen, door station will automatically start the face recognition or the user can press the “*” key twice to enable the face recognition. If the face ID has been registered, the door will be unlocked.

BASIC SETTINGS

Press “#” key twice, LCD display will show as below. Enter six-digit admin password(default password: 123456) and go to settings.

In System Settings page, you can set the following items.

Device Settings

Press “Device Settings” to enter the following setting interface,

  1. Mode
    The device can be used as unit door station or wall door station.
    Press “#” to confirm after inputting. When the door station gives an indication tone, it means that it is changed successfully. If the device is used as unit door station, it can only call the indoor monitors in this unit. If the device is used as wall door station, it can call all the indoor monitors in the whole community.

  2. Language, Volume and Resolution
    The language, volume and resolution are set in the same way as the settings of device mode. “Language” is used to set the language to be shown on the door station, supporting simplified Chinese, English, traditional Chinese and Spanish. “Volume” is used to set the prompt tone of door station, including 1-6 volume levels selection. There is 320×240, 640×480 or 1280×720 for the resolution.

  3. Building, Unit, Index and Password
    Select the item to set c::::>- Input the number to change c::::>- Press “#” to confirm. When the door station gives an indication tone, it means that it is changed successfully.
    Note, Please keep the admin password confidential. If the password is forgotten, the user will not be able to log into the system. The password can only be recovered by resetting to factory default.

Network Settings
Press “Network Setting” to enter the following setting interface:

  1. DHCP
    Select this item to go to settings. Press “#” to confirm after inputting. When the door station gives an indication tone, it means that it is changed successfully. The user can enable or disable the function.

  2. IP
    The default IP address of the system is 192.168.68.90. As for the devices which are connected to the same LAN (the same subnet of network segment), their IP addresses cannot be the same.

  3. Mask
    The system default is 255.255.255.0.

  4. Gateway
    It refers to the gateway address for network segment of device’s IP address. The system default is 192.168.68.1.

  5. DNS
    The system default is 8.8.8.8.

  6. CMS IP
    The CMS IP address refers to the IP address of computer with management software. In case that management software isn’t required for managing the intercom devices, this setting is invalid. The default IP address of server is 192.168.12.40.

Access Settings
Press “Access Setting” to enter the following setting interface,

  1. Face Settings
    The item is used to delete all face info.
    Select this item to delete, press “l” and “#” to delete all face info.

  2. Password Settings
    The item is used to add or delete PIN code.
    Add: Add more PIN code.
    Delete, Fill in Relay No. to delete PIN code registered to this Relay No. Delete All, Press “l” and”#” to delete all PIN code
    Check: Press “enter” to view the PIN code of all Relay.

  3. Card Settings
    The item is used to add or delete cards.
    Add: Add more cards.
    Delete: Fill in Room No. to delete cards registered to this Room No .. Delete All: Press “l” and “#” to delete all cards.

  4. Settings
    Recognizer: Enable facial recognition_ (Note: If Recognizer is enabled, RTSP can’t be used. NVR can’t record, for example.If you need NVR to record images from Door Station, Recognizer should be disabled.)
    Similarity, Sensitivity of facial similarity analyzer (low, normal, high).
    Live Detect, Sensitivity of live detect (close, normal, high).
    Unlock Time, The length of unlock time (l-9s).
    Unlock Delay: The length of unlock delay time (l-9s).
    Elev Refer, The floor of Door Station (range 1-99).

About System
Press “About System” to enter the following setting interface,

  • Firmware Version, Firmware version of the device.
  • IP : Current IP address of the device.
  • MAC : MAC address of the device.
  • SIP : Status of SIP.

WEB SETTINGS

Connect door station and PC to the network switch on the same LAN. Input IP address of door station in the web browser of PC, then input the user name and password(the default name is admin, the password is 123456) to enter into the following interface:

General:

  • Model: model of the device.
  • Firmware Version: firmware version of the device.
  • MAC Address: MAC address of the device.
  • Framework: framework of the device.
  • UI: UI of the device.
  • MCU: MCU of the device.

Network:

  • DHCP: status of DHCP.
  • IP Address: current IP address of the device. Mask: subnet mask of the device.
  • Gateway: gateway of the device.
  • DNS: domain Name Server of the device.

SIP Account:

  • Account: SIP account of the device.
  • Status: status of SIP registration of the device. CMS IP: IP address of CMS.
  • Status: status of CMS registration.

Basic:

  • Language: 16 languages supported, such as Simplified Chinese, traditional Chinese, English and so on.
  • Resolution: 4 resolutions supported (320 x 240, 640 x 480, 1280 x 720, 1920 X 1080).
  • Volume:  Intercom, Volume of Intercom can be set from 1 to 6.
  • System: Volume of System can be set from 1 to 6.

Time:

  • Auto (Time): enable to synchronize computer time.
  • Date&Time: Date and time can be set manually.
  • NTP URL: network Time Protocol (NTP) is a protocol used to synchronize computer time.
  • Time Zone: a region that observes a uniform standard time; 12H/24H: select 12H or 24H format to display on the device;
  • Time Format: 3 time formats supported (YYYY-MM-DD, DD-MM-YYYY, MM­  DD-YYYY);

Password:

  • System:
    • Old Password: current password of the device. New Password: new password of the device. Confirm Password: confirm password of the device. Web:
    • Old Password: current password of the web.
  • New Password: new password of the web. Confirm Password: confirm password of the web.

System:

Backup & Import:

  • Backup&Restore: backup all setting and restore settings.
  • Upgrade: upgrade equipment.
  • Reset: reset factory settings.
  • Reboot: reboot the device.

Debug:

  • Packet Capture : capturing packets can help developers reproduce positioning problems.
  • Logs : device logs.
  • Screenshot : screenshot device interface.

Intercom:
Device

  • Mode: Unit and Wall;
  • Building: number of the building (Building range: 1-999); Unit: number of the unit (Unit range: 1-99);
  • Index: number of the Index (Unit range: 1-99);

Network,

  • DHCP, enable DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol} to dynamically distributing network configuration parameters.
  • IP Address: configure Static IP address to manually distributing network configuration parameters.
  • Mask: subnet mask.
  • Gateway: a component that is part of two networks, which use different protocols.
  • DNS: domain Name Server of the device.

Register To CMS:

  • CMS: enable to use CMS software to manage devices.
  • CMS IP: server address of CMS.
  • Password: password of CMS.

SIP

  • SIP: enable to use SIP.
  • Proxy: proxy of SIP.
  • Display Name: display name of SIP.
  • User: user of SIP.
  • User ID: user ID of SIP.
  • Password: password of SIP.
  • Transfer Protocol: transfer Protocol (UDP, TCP, TLS).
  • H.264: advanced video coding (H.264 range: 96-167).

Ring Croup

  • Mode: 2 modes supported (one by one, all at once).

Call Concierge:

  • URL: URL of the concierge button.

Settings:

  • Dial Mode: 2 dial modes supported (Normal, Repeat).
  • Ring Time: the ring will be ended automatically after a period of time (l0s, 205, 355, 455, 605, 905, 1205).
  • Call Time: the call will be ended automatically after a period of time (120s, 300s, 600s, 1200s, 1800s).

Phonebook

  • Search: fill in text inputs to search.
  • Reset: click reset to clear words in text inputs. Delete All: delete all data on the chart. Export: export all data on the chart.

Call Logs

  • Search: fill in text inputs to search.
  • Reset: click reset to clear words in text inputs.
  • Delete All: delete all data on the chart.
  • Export: export all data on the chart.

Relay:

  • Relay 1-3: 3 relays supported.
  • DTMF: dual-tone multi-frequency signaling (Relayl: #, Relay2:0, relay3: *). Unlock Delay, the length of unlock delay time (l-9s).
  • Unlock Time: the length of unlock time (l-9s).
  • Dry Contact Input 1-4: 3 modes of dry contact inputs supported (Exit Button, Door Sensor, Fire Linkage).
  • Lift Reference Floor, the floor of Door Station (range 1-99).

Unlock Password:

  • Add: add more unlock passwords.
  • Delete All: delete all data on the chart.
  • Facial Recognition, Human Body Induction, enable to trigger facial recognition once human movement detected.
  • Facial Recognition, enable facial recognition.
  • Similarity, sensitivity of facial similarity analyzer (low, normal, high).
  • Live Detect: sensitivity of live detect (close, normal, high).

Person

  • Search: fill in text inputs to search.
  • Reset: click reset to clear words in text inputs. Add: add more users.
  • Delete All, delete all data on the chart.

Unlock Logs

  • Search: fill in text inputs to search.
  • Reset, click reset to clear words in text inputs. Delete All: delete all data on the chart. Export, export all data on the chart.

Advanced:
Video

  • RTSP Feed: 4 IP cameras supported to switch while talking on Indoor Monitor.
  • URL: IP camera’s URL.

More

  • Advertise:
    Advertise: enable to advertise on the screen saver of the device.
    URL: advertise URL (Uniform Resource Locator}.
    Time(minutes}: the time length of advertise display(l0mins, 20mins, 30mins}.

  • Tamper:
    Tamper Alarm: enable to use Tamper alarm.

  • Other:
    ONU Penetration: enable to prevent ONU from banning multicast.

SYSTEM CONFIGURATION

SYSTEM DIAGRAM

Network(PoE)
Standard RJ45 interface connects with master station, indoor monitor or other network equipment by network switch.
PSE of power supply equipment shall comply with IEEE 802.3at (POE plus), with output power not less than 30W and output voltage not less than S0V.

Power

Power interface of door station connects with 12V DC power.

Switching Value Output
Connect to the lock module(independent power supply is necessary for the lock).

Warning

  1. When connecting to an inductive l oad device such as a rel ay or electrom agnetic lock, you are recommended to use a diode lA/ 400V(included in the accessories) in anti- par all el with the load device to coM absorb inductive load voltage peaks. Intercom will be better protected in this way.
  2. The load current of the rel ay c annot be greater th an 2A. See att ached picture for more det ails.

RS485

En able to connect equipment with RS485 inter face.

Card Reader Interface
The interface can be connected to one IC/ID card reader or be used for reading the information of built-in card reader.

Note: Door station can only be connected to one card reader or management device at a time.

Installation method:

  1. According to the installation dimension of door station, dig a square groove at the appropriate position in the wall or door, and dig a hole (drainage hole) at the bottom;
  2. Drill the threading holes at the bottom of the built-in box to facilitate drainage. Upward arrow is on the front of the built-in box. Embed the built-in box into the wall, then put the built-in box into the groove of the wall, and tighten four screws from top to bottom of the built-in box, or fix the built-in box in the wall with concrete;
  3. Assemble the door station into the built-in box, align the groove and the built-in box, tighten the screws, and finally inject the glass glue into the top, left and right sides of the door station(note: the glass glue cannot be injected into bottom part that is reserved for the drainage hole at the bottom of door station).

Installation Instructions:

[Suggestion]: The camera should be 1450~ 1550mm above the ground. The camera at this height can capture human face perfectly.

TROUBLESHOOTING

  • Some common failures and troubleshooting methods are listed for your reference. In case of failure which cannot be repaired, do not disassemble or repair the product by yourself. Please contact the after-sales service department.
  • When unit door station or wall door station fails to call indoor monitor:
  • When setting door station, please make sure building No. and unit No. of door station are the same as the ones of indoor monitor;
  • Please check whether the network is connected;
  • Please check if there are any security settings for the network, such as VLAN configuration;
  • When unit door station, wall door station or indoor monitor fails to call master station:
  • Please check whether the network is connected;
  • Please check if there are any security settings for the network, such as VLAN configuration;

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

In order to protect you and others from harm or your device from damage, please read the following information before using the device.

Do not install the device in the following places:

  • Do not install the device in high-temperature and moist environment or the area close to magnetic field, such as the electric generator, transformer or magnet.
  • Do not place the device near the heating products such as electric heater or the fluid container.
  • Do not place the device in the sun or near the heat source, which might cause discoloration or deformation of the device.
  • Do not install the device in an unstable position to avoid the property losses or personal injury caused by the falling of device.

Guard against electric shock, fire and explosion:

  • Do not use damaged power cord, plug or loose outlet.
  • Do not touch the power cord with wet hand or unplug the power cord by pulling.
  • Do not bend or damage the power cord.
  • Do not touch the device with wet hand.
  • Do not make the power supply slip or cause the impact.
  • Do not use the power supply without the manufacturer’s approval.
  • Do not have the liquids such as water go into the device.

Clean Device Surface

Clean the device surfaces with soft cloth dipped in some water, and then rub the surface with dry cloth.

Other Tips

  • In order to prevent damage to the paint layer or the case, please do not expose the device to chemical P.roducts, such as the diluent, gasoline, alcohol, insect-resist agents, opac1fying agent and insecticide.
  • Do not knock on the device with hard objects.
  • Do not press the screen surface. Overexertion might cause flopover or damage to the device.
  • Please be careful when standing up from the area under the device.
  • Do not disassemble, repair or modify the device at your own discretion.
  • The arbitrary modification is not covered under warranty. When any repair required, please contact the customer service center.
  • If there is abnormal sound, smell or fume in the device, please unplug the power cord immediately and contact the customer service center.
  • When the device isn’t used for a long time, the adaptor and memory card can be removed and placed in dry environment.
  • When moving, please hand over the manual to new tenant for proper usage of the device.
