DNAKE APP Solution (Android System)

Add UUID and Authkey to Indoor Monitor

Before you start:

  • Make sure all the devices are in good condition and all the assembly parts are included.
  • Make sure your network functions well. All the devices are under the same LAN.

1.1 Add UUID and Authkey to Indoor Monitor
1. The followings are the steps to add UUID and Authkey to Indoor Monitor.
Step 1: After upgrading, you can double click IP address of Indoor Monitor on the page of Remote Upgrade to open the website. You can also put Indoor Monitor’s IP address in the browser’s search bar to log in its webpage with account: special and password: 123456.

Step 2: Go to Advanced to change UUID and Authkey to what we have provided for you.
Submit to confirm the change.

Connect Door Station to Indoor Monitor

2.1 Check Building, Riser and Apartment number of Indoor Monitor
1. All other Settings remain default. In case Door Station fails to connect with Indoor Monitor, you need to check out whether the Building and Unit number of Door Station is consistent with Indoor Monitor’s. The followings are the steps to check numbers of Indoor Monitor.
Step 1: Go to the home page of Indoor Monitor. Click VOIP.

1. The followings are the steps to check numbers of Door Station.
Step 1: Press # twice on the keyboard of Door Station to go to Admin, and then enter the default password: 123456. (Keyboard on Door Station——#: enter; *: back; ⬆: up; ⬇: down)

2.3 Call Indoor Monitor by Door Station

  1. After you have confirmed these numbers, you can try to call Indoor Monitor. You can press * to go back to the home page of Door Station. Press Room number of Indoor Monitor (such as 1111)on Door Station, and then press ****to make this call.DNAKE APP Solution fig 7
  2. You can answer, reject, open the door, or speak with the visitor on Indoor Monitor.

2.4 Add Door Station to Indoor Monitor

  1. You can have a test by adding Door Station to Indoor Monitor. If everything works well, it means you are doing this right.
    Step 1: Click VOIP on the home page.
    Step 2: Click Monitor and then you can see the real-time pictures from Door Station. You can switch the devices, speak with the visitor, open the door, or pause the monitor.

  2. Congratulations. You have done a good job. Door Station is successfully connected to Indoor Monitor.

Connect Villa Panel to Indoor Monitor

3.1 Check Build, Unit and Room number of Villa Panel
1. The followings are the steps to check numbers of Villa Panel.
Step 1 : After the settings, you can double click IP address of Villa Panel on the page of Remote Upgrade to open the website. You can also put Villa Panel’s IP address in the browser’s search bar to log in its webpage with account: admin and password: 123456.
Step 2: Go to Device to check the Build, Unit and Room number. Make sure the Build, Unit and Room number of Villa Panel is the same as Indoor Monitor’s.
DNAKE APP Solution fig 10 Step 3: Go to Network. Enable DHCP and Submit. This step is to guarantee the connection with other devices under the same LAN.

  1. After you have confirmed these numbers, you can try to call Indoor Monitor. Press the Button on Villa Panel to make this call.

  2. You can answer, reject, open the door, or speak with the visitor.DNAKE APP Solution fig 8

3.3 Add Villa Panel to Indoor Monitor

  1. You can have a test by adding Door Station to Indoor Monitor. If everything works well, it means
    you are doing this right.
    Step 1: Click VOIP on the home page.
    Step 2: Click Monitor and then you can see the real-time pictures from Door Station. You can switch the devices, speak with the visitor, open the door, or pause the monitor.

  2. If you have many devices connecting to Indoor Monitor, you need to switch devices in the center of the direction key to watch the real-time pictures from Door Station or Villa Panel. Before switching, you need to press Pause in the bottom right to make sure the smooth transition.

  3. Congratulations. You have done a good job. Both Door Station and Villa Panel are successfully connected to Indoor Monitor.

Get started with Smart Life app

4.1 Download Smart Life app
https://smartapp.tuya.com/smartlife
You can download the Smart Life app by searching for Smart Life in your app store, Google Play Store or by scanning the following QR code.
4.2 Register, log in
1. Open the Smart Life app and tap Sign Up. In the User Agreement and Privacy Policy dialog box, carefully read the privacy policy and agreement and tap Agree to go to the account registration page.
DNAKE APP Solution fig 132. Enter your mobile phone number or email address and tap Get Verification Code. The country or region on the registration page is the same as that you set in the mobile phone. You can also manually change the country or region before registration.
3. On the Enter Verification Code page, enter the verification code. On the Set Password page, set the password as per instructions and tap Done.DNAKE

4.3 Add devices
1. Recommended way: Scan QR code on Indoor Monitor by your app. QR code is in VOIP.
Step 1: Go to the home page of Indoor Monitor. Click VOIP.

DNAKE APP Solution fig 162.Optional way: Tap Add Device or the plus (+) icon in the top right corner on the home page to go to the device adding page. You can manually add devices on the Add Manually tab or tap Auto Scan to enable the app to automatically detect devices. To add devices on the Auto Scan tab, you need to grant the app related Wi-Fi and Bluetooth permissions. DNAKE APP Solution fig 17

3. After you complete the above steps, the Smart Life app will automatically enter the interface of monitor. You can make a video call to Door Station and unlock remotely on the smart phone.DNAKE APP Solution fig

4.4 Rename devices
1. After scanning the device, you will see the reminder (Added successfully). In this page, you can edit the name and room of this device.

2. After the device is added, you can customize the device name. The following steps and pictures are here for your reference.
Step 1: Back to the home page and click the device you want to rename.
Step 2: Click Edit in the upper right corner.
Step 3: Select the icon.
Step 4: Click Name.
Step 5 : Type in whatever you like to rename your device.DNAKE APP

4.5 Share devices
1. After having added devices successfully, you can share devices with your family or friends. A total of 20 users (mobile app) are supported. The following steps and pictures are here for your reference.
Step 1: Back to the home page and click the device you want to share.
Step 2: Click Edit in the upper right corner.
Step 3: Select Share Device

2. Except for the above way, you can also create a home to share your devices in this group. The following steps and pictures are here for your reference.
Step 1: Go to Me page and then open Home Management.
Step 2: Select My Home or Create a Home.
Step 3: In the Home Setting page, you can rename, locate, or share your device.
