brinno ART200 Pan Lapse Rotating Camera

Product Information

The ART200 is a Pan Lapse device that allows for smooth and controlled rotation of your camera or smartphone. It comes with various components including a smartphone clamp, tripod mount for the camera, tripod mount, power ON/OFF switch, and battery cover. The device also features a LED indicator that displays the battery status, power on/off status, time lapse working status, and Bluetooth connectivity status.

Product Usage Instructions

  1. Install the Brinno Pan Lapse APP on your smartphone by visitingwww.brinno.com/art200.
  2. Turn on Bluetooth on your smartphone.
  3. Open the Brinno Pan Lapse APP.
  4. Connect your smartphone to the Pan Lapse device via Bluetooth.  A pop-up screen will appear if your smartphone’s Bluetooth is turned off.
  5. Attach your camera or smartphone to the appropriate mount on the Pan Lapse device.
  6. Adjust the desired settings on the APP for rotation speed, direction, and duration.
  7. Press the power ON/OFF switch on the Pan Lapse device to turn it on.
  8. Monitor the LED indicator on the device for battery status, power on/off status, time lapse working status, and Bluetooth connectivity status.
  9. Once you are ready, start the time lapse recording using the controls on the APP.
  10. To stop the rotation, press the power ON/OFF switch on the Pan Lapse device to turn it off.

Setting

  1. Set Speed
    • 1: Slow
    • 10: Fast : Non Stop(Fastest)
  2. Set Time Interval (This time interval should match the setting on your time lapse camera.)
  3. Set Panning Angle (Back-and-forth sweeping)
  4. Press “OK”
  5. Choose Direction and Start

Tip-1

  1. Video Recording:
    When Speed Setting is “ ” with time interval “0”, Pan Lapse will Non-Stop Rotating. Ready Approx.
    Panning Time: 2 min /32 Sec

  2. Time Lapse Recording:
    Speed setting should not be “ ” . Time Interval setting should not be “0” .

Tip-2

How To Set Perfect Panning Angle?

Ex:

  • If camera Fov =120° Plan to shoot a 180° panning time lapse
  • Panning angle = 180°-120° =60°
