THIS APPLIANCE IS INTENDED FOR DOMESTIC USE ONLY

  • Before connecting the toaster to the mains socket, check that the voltage indicated on the appliance corresponds to the mains voltage in your home. If not, contact your dealer and DO NOT use the appliance.
  • Connect the toaster only to a properly grounded outlet.
  • DO NOT let the appliance‘s power cord hang over the edge of a table or countertop or touch hot surfaces as this may damage the power cord.
  • This product should NOT be placed on a heated surface, near a gas stove or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
  • DO NOT HEAT when empty, this can lead to damage to the heating element.
  • Toasted bread can be very hot – leave enough space around the toaster for air circulation (also watch out for long curtains, tea towels, etc.).
  • Do not turn on the toaster without the crumb tray in place at the bottom. Empty the tray regularly so that crumbs do not accumulate in it.
  • Ensure that the toaster is operated on a stable and level surface that does not get hot and that it is out of the reach of children.
  • DO NOT immerse the product in water or any other liquid as this may cause electric shock.
  • The toaster can only be used to toast bread.
  • Some parts of the appliance may become very hot when toasting.
  • DO NOT move the appliance when it is switched on.
  • Do not allow children to use the appliance.
  • DO NOT use replacement parts or accessories without the manufacturer‘s approval as this can cause fire, electrical failure and personal injury.
  • Always keep the product unplugged when cleaning and when not in use. Allow the toaster to cool before cleaning.
  • DO NOT use the appliance with a damaged mains cable or plug, or when malfunctioning. Contact the product dealer or an authorised service centre for repair.
  • This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, who do not have sufficient experience and knowledge unless they are under supervision or given instruction.
  • Children should be supervised and should never play with the appliance.
  • Cleaning and user maintenance must not be carried out by children without supervision.

  • DO NOT use for anything other than the intended use.
  • Do not touch the power cord with wet hands or when standing in water.
  • The box contains small parts that can be dangerous for children. Always store the product out of the reach of children. The bags can cause suffocation if placed over the head and the parts they contain are a choking hazard.

CAUTION: Never attempt to release stuck bread with a knife or other sharp metal object as there is a risk of electric shock! If the bread gets stuck, unplug the toaster and let it cool before removing the bread.

USING THE TOASTER

  1. Plug the appliance into the socket.
  2. Press the power button a) to turn on the control panel.
  3. Place one or two slices of bread into the bread slot.
  4. Use buttons e) or f) to select the required toasting intensity (1 – least, 7 – most). When using it for the first time, it is recommended to set it to level 3. Different types of bread will require different settings.
  5. The toasting cycle will now start automatically. If the toaster is not plugged in, the lever will not stay down.
  6. The toaster automatically switches off as soon as the desired degree of toasting is reached, and the finished toast pops up for easy removal. The toasting process can be stopped at any time by pressing the power button a).

USING THE DEFROST FUNCTION

  1. Plug the appliance into the socket.
  2. Press the power button a) to turn on the control panel.
  3. Place one or two frozen slices of bread into the bread slot.
  4. Use button c) to select the ‚DEFROST‘ function. Depending on the bread, press e) or f) to select the required heating intensity
  5. The ‚DEFROST‘ cycle will now start automatically. If the toaster is not plugged in, the lever will not stay down.
  6. The toaster automatically switches off as soon as the desired degree of toasting is reached, and the finished toast pops up for easy removal. The toasting process can be stopped at any time by pressing the power button a)

USING THE REHEAT FUNCTION

  1. Plug the appliance into the socket.
  2. Press the power button a) to turn on the control panel.
  3. Place one or two slices of bread into the bread slot.
  4. Use button c) to select the ‚REHEAT‘ function. Depending on the bread, press e) or f) to select the required heating intensity
  5. The ‚REHEAT‘ cycle will now start automatically. If the toaster is not plugged in, the lever will not stay down.
  6. The toaster automatically switches off as soon as the desired degree of toasting is reached, and the finished toast pops up for easy removal. The toasting process can be stopped at any time by pressing the power button a)

USER SETTINGS

  1. Plug the appliance into the socket.
  2. Press the power button a) to turn on the control panel.
  3. Press button d) for two seconds to enter user settings. The heating level icon will start to flash rapidly.
  4. Use buttons e) or f) to set the desired level of heating and confirm the setting by briefly pressing button d).
  5. From now on, after switching on the appliance, you can use your saved settings by pressing button d).

MAINTENANCE

  • The toaster has an integrated crumb tray, which makes it easy to remove crumbs and maintain cleanliness around the toaster.
    Empty the tray only when the toaster has cooled down and is unplugged from the mains. The tray is washable and should be placed back into the toaster after drying.

  • Crumbs that stick to the grill inside the toaster can be carefully removed with a stiff brush. The exterior can be cleaned with a damp cloth. Do not use sharp objects or abrasive substances for cleaning and maintenance.
