Rough-In Plumbing

  1. Prior to installing, calculate the finished wall thickness. If it exceeds 30mm, contact the manufacturer for further options.
  2. If the wall thickness is greater than 30mm, contact the manufacturer for further options.
  3. Prepare a nogging to be fixed parallel between the wall studs.
  4. The nogging must be fitted to enable the base of the masterfit to be 30-32mm back from the stud face.
  5. The masterfit will be marked “This side UP” to indicate orientation.
  6. Using the provided screws (x4), mount the masterfit to the nogging, ensuring it is level and square.

Plumber Note: High-pressure line testing should be conducted on-site with the mixer in the closed position (STATIC TEST ONLY). The mixer should not be opened when exceeding the maximum stated water pressure. After testing, do not relieve any high pressure by opening the mixer. Exposing the internals of the mixer cartridge to higher than specified water pressures will void the manufacturer’s warranty.

Important: Tapware installation must be done by a licensed plumber in accordance with AS/NZS 3500:2003. The recommended working water pressure is 300-500 kPa, and the maximum water temperature is 65°C.
